Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

R4Ds not working on NDS I

oh sorry didnt read your post right the first time, you have a new dsi? nintendo have been clever in not only makin the dsi region bound unlike the normal ds lite, meaning it will not play games from other regions where as the ds lite can but it does also made sure that the new dsi does not support any super card, be it the r4, dstt, n5. they are gits. the r4 ,dstt teams etc have promised to do cards that the dsi supports but dunno wen avalible yet and im guessin will cost more, sorry to let you in on this gimmick that nintendo have caused.hope this helps.

DS Lite will not power on

blowin F1 or F2 fuse or both inside your nds. can be fixed by runnung a bead of solder the blown fuse so it bridges the fuse (idealy you would replace fuse but its very tricky) first of all if you have a multi meter check the fuses before soldering them. anyway i advise not to use the homebrew card especially on your nds when you bridge the fuses as once the fuses have been bridged there is no saftey shut off to stop more sever damage. oh by the way just youtube F1 and F2 fuse location to find out where they are. oh and use a 15watt solder iron to be on safe side (less chance of overheating any components near fuses when soldering). its not that hard to do really (i did 2 of them with a gas solder iron due to me not having a 15watt iron) also replaced cracked screens. my next job to do is replace a L2 inductor on a friends nds (symptom for this fault is nds charges but will not power up, not even a blink of green light) for anyone who has this symptom its the L2 inductor thats broken away

What is wrong with my ds i put a homebrew card in and it kill everthing it wont turn on or no lights then on then try putting it in my daughter ds and the same kill every thing only when i plug it in with...

dont exactly no why your homebrew card is doing this but i read that R4 software developers are making there firmware capable of bricking nds consoles if the R4 card isnt genuine. so is your homebrew card a R4? anyway sounds to me like your home brew card is some how blowing the F1 or F2 fuse or both inside your nds. can be fixed by runnung a bead of solder the blown fuse so it bridges the fuse (idealy you would replace fuse but its very tricky) first of all if you have a multi meter check the fuses before soldering them. anyway i advise not to use the homebrew card especially on your nds when you bridge the fuses as once the fuses have been bridged there is no saftey shut off to stop more sever damage. oh by the way just youtube F1 and F2 fuse location to find out where they are. oh and use a 15watt solder iron to be on safe side (less chance of overheating any components near fuses when soldering). its not that hard to do really (i did 2 of them with a gas solder iron due to me not having a 15watt iron) also replaced cracked screens. my next job to do is replace a L2 inductor on a friends nds (syptom for this fault is nds charges but will not power up, not even a blink of green light) for anyone who has this symptom its the L2 inductor thats broken away

Ds lite possible fuse problem

This probleem look indeed like a Fuse problem. If you can't repair it youreself, use google to find a repair service in your neighbourhood.
I know it could not be easy to find some but they out there.
What you could do is go to eBay and find some resellers of DS Lite parts and send them a personal message and aske them if they can help you replace the fuse.

N5 NOT WORKING ON DS LITE

Try gently bending the N5 so that the pins contact more effectively. Be careful not to snap it!
