Maybe this tip is helpful:

Some bios test at the beginning the speed of the cpu-fan.
If the speed is to low, computer is switched off.
So pls replace your fan by a higher speed type.

What sound card is compatible with my asus p5vd2-vm se im going to buy a altec lansing 6 channel speeaker pls. help

Your ASUS motherboard model has on-board sound. You are asking what 3rd party card to install?

Your motherboard supports:

PCI
PCIe x1
PCIe x16

A 3rd party sound card of your choosing that will fit in one of these vacant slots will do nicely.

What is the best available compatible chip for ASUS A8V-E SE?

Go to the Asus website. www.asus.com. Click on the support link. Lookup your specific motherboard model #. Once you have located this there will be a menu in the left hand side that will say cpu support. Click on this & it will list all cpu's that are compatible with your board and what bios version you would need to run with each cpu. Hope this helps.

Hardware monitor found an error

First I would make sure all the power plugs are properly plugged into the motherboard and all other devices.

If that does not solve it then I would get the Power supply tested at a local PC shop. Or just get a new decent power supply. Looks like the Power supply without a doubt is defective.
