If what you're saying is still the result after cleaning everything up, there must already be something wrong with the printhead because the printheads are the one's that are responsible for the mixture of the ink cartridges.
Try calling HP Tech Support. They might still be able to replace the printheads for you.
There is very little correlation to what you see on the screen to what is printed. The screen is backlit and so the pics will appear a lot brighter and colorful than what prints to paper . paper is also a variance Matt Semi Gloss and Gloss etc. But perhaps what is really happening is that your inkjet is delivering more red than blue and yellow via the inkjets. Go to maintenance in the Print queue and print out a nozzle check to ensure that all lines are continuous and not broken. Your other ink casettes may also be very low compared to the red one.
Assuming your saying that the red in your printed materials looks pink. Either you are running out of color ink, the bottom of the color cartridge is dry and caked with ink, or you have a clog of ink somewhere. Run a cleaning cycle, wipe any ink residue from the bottom of the color cartridge, and replace the cartridge if necessary.
Assuming there is ink in the color cartridges and that it's viable, then you need to clean the printhead. There should be documentation for doing this in the software that came with the printer.
any chance it has dried out? run the test / head cleaning / did you reset the cartridge when you replaced it? generally if one or two colors work - the problem is the ink cartridge or the head for the colors not working. Did you remove the "tape" on the new cartridge?
Try first replacing the cartridge , possibly with an original one. With new printer cartridge on do head clean a couple of times, to clean the print head. If it still prints wrong color then the print head is faulty, one of the colors jets is clogged. You can remove the printhead and leave it in cleaning solution or isopropyl alcohol overnight, probably you will need to replace the printhead.
