Question about IBM ThinkPad G40 2388 Notebook
I have a problem with my IBM pc thinkpad G40 2388 it won't power up no single LED light up.. how can i solve my problem is there any way please.. help.. i try to disconnect the battery, cd rom, memory, hd, and connect it again and try.. still the problem is the same..
Start by checking the power supply with an ohm meter to see if it's working, or has the proper output. If the supply is good, then the problem is most likely going to be with the power management system on the motherboard, and the motherboard will have to be replaced. This could be a serious problem, so If it's not the power supply, I would recommend that you take it to a service shop in your area to have the exact problem area tracked down. A power management system failure is common in these machines, but there are a few other replaceable board components that can cause this as well.
