On power up it beeps 3 to 4 times and won't boot up

Open up the chassis, remove the DDR memory modules, clean out the dust bunnies
thoroughly with compressed air, and reseat the memory modules one at a time,
attempting to power on the system with each added module. Always unplug the
computer from the wall current when adding or removing hardware.

The 3 beep at startup is a fetal memory error code this may be due to either bad memory module or corruption of BIOS.

Let me know the result after performing the steps I will be glad to assist you further

It sounds like you Windows OS is corrupted. You may need to reload. On the sound problem, don't bother with control panel. Try this instead. Click Start/Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Volume control and make sure there are no controls at 0, especially the Wave control.

Unable to open a program

Hi, you will have to install a new and original operating system. But before that, I will advise you to get an external hard disk to copy all your files, because it could involve you formating the system. After that, load an active anti virus, then tranfer your file back. That's it. You can mail me for any question. abbeyglobe at Good luck.

Opening of applications slow in my PC

The question is, "Was it ever fast?"
If the answer is "Yes" you've got too much junk cluttering up your system!

First thing is first:
1) If you're on XP: Start>Run>Type in msconfig>Click OK
2) If you're on Vista: Start>Type in msconfig>Press Enter
3) On the "System Configuration Utility" that comes up, click on the "Startup" tab.
4) Uncheck EVERYTHING that is there.
5) Click "OK" and restart the computer.

When your system comes back up, is it faster? More responsive? The answer SHOULD be yes. What you should then do is download and install and run the following pieces of software:

Both have free editions that you can use. This should clean up any spyware that may be on your computer that is causing slowdowns.

If the answer after the msconfig is "No, it's still slow" then you've got more serious software issues. Your best option would be to backup what you need on your hard drive and format and reinstall windows. The computer will run as well as it did the day you bought it!

Computer will not boot up

Sounds like you have a virus or some kind of spyware. try putting in the XP install disk and booting up, then run a virus scan and a check Disc utility and see if that fixes the problem
