Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Try giving "restore factory settings" so if there is any firmware problem it will fixed ..
after giving the "restore factory settings" restart your phone once and then i think you will be getting the ringing sound ..
if you still persist the same problem then there may be some problem in the speaker or the speaker may be in loose contact inside(it may not be touching the pins correctly from the motherboard to the speaker) ..
if so if you are good at opening then just open it and align it properly and refit you will surely be able to get the ringing sound ..
if the speaker is dead then replace that will fix your problem ..
if you are afraid of opening it or if you dont have idea to open it then just visit the service center the technician will do it for you but he may take the service charge for that ...
it is minor problem it is better if you do it ..
any doubts you can reply me
dont forget to rate my solution
have a nice day
