Question about Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Printer
Printer is a network printer.
Was working fine before.
Tried to install driver again so as to access to printer directly from print server.
Unable to install driver successfully.
Deleted the 'faulty' printer and revert back to network printer (which was not deleted in the first place).
And problem occurs.
Printing ok but does not stop at perforated line hence causing green light to turn amber.
Tried to calibrate but "Out of Dump" message is not printed and problem still occurs.
SOURCE: TLP2844 won't print
Default the printer so you have a green light.
Print a configuration label so you have the printer's settings.
Check the document you are trying to print.
If your "normal document" is using PCL, it won't print because you aren't speaking the printer's language.
Make sure you are using a Zebra driver and that the label/media settings match your printer. Look at your direct thermal/thermal transfer setting and your media length setting -- especially continuous vs. non-continuous.

The amber light means the cover is not closed all the way. Something is preventing the cover from staying latched closed - it's releasing just enough to activate the cover-open sensor. Maybe check if you can see anything broken where the cover latches shut.
Not sure if this will be too helpful...
