Polaroid TLA-01511c With Windows XP Pro

My television is plugged into the VGA port on my computer. Windows displays fine, however Media Player refuses to cooperate with the LCD, and when I attempt to play a game, I get a blue screen with "Not Support", even though the game's resolution is the same as my desktop.

It wasn't the tv's fault at all. It was the computer behaving very badly. :p

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My tv wont connect to my desktop

Do you mean you don't have an HDMI or S-Video output from your computer, and those are the only kind of inputs your TD has?
Or you do you mean you have the cable hooked up and don't know how to set the TV for the axillary alternate input device?

Assuming your problem is a cable and port compatibility, you may want to consider an adapter.
This link has several options illustrated:
http://www.ramelectronics.net/howto-pc-tv.ep
All computers have at least a VGA output, and this can be converted to HDMI or S-Video very cheaply. But you can also get a USB to HDMI if you don't even have a spare VGA port.

If your problem is with how to set the controls on the Polaroid TV, I can't help much with that.

Sound no picture Polaroid 15.4 TLA-01511c

If you take a good look at the screen when it goes dark can you make out anything maybe some bright scenes on the channel you were watching or if you press the menu key, you can see a very dim display, you might need the back light assembly or something related to it.

How do i find the AUX on the Polaroid TLA-01511C? I want to run a DVD player and it needs to be set up on the AUX. If I run a scan on the channels it does not pick up the AUX

I would recommend using the S-video connection for the DVD to the TLA-01511C TV's S-video. Then, press the input button and go down to the S-video option and you should be good to go - it worked for me. Hope this helps you!
