Question about Compaq Presario M2000 Notebook
You may have damaged the screen itself... did you hear anything breaking or did the monitor itself bend.
there is a possibility that you have pulled the connector for the screen partially loose. disassembly is required to confirm that. and attach the cable properly.
I'm hoping you have a dell as they seem to have excellent manuals on their site for disassembly instructions.
