Question about Nintendo Wii Console
Yesterday we bought smash bros, have used it all day and when paused some of our power dimmed off for a few seconds, everything came back on but the wii, I changed plugs and all of a sudden there is absolutley no light coming on???? Please help, kids are devestated!
I called the Wii 800 number, and it said to unplug the a/c adapter from the wall and the unit for 2 minutes, and this resets it, it fixed mine.

I've had this problem happen twice. My issue was due to not using the Wii for several weeks.
1. Unplug the power supply from both the Wii and the outlet/surge protecter.
2. Leave unplugged overnight.
3. Plug the power supply back in, starting at the wall outlet/suprge protecter, then to the Wii console.
This has worked for my twice and for several others that I know as well.

Solution #1 was the answer for my Wii. Make sure you DISCONNECT it from the WALL and the WII for 2 minutes.
I made the mistake of just disconnecting the power supply from the Wii and it didn't change anything. Post Solution

Solution number one worked great, Me and my Fiance were wanting to play Wii Sports, and we haven't played it in a couple of months, so when we tried to get it hooked to the television and such, no light was coming on, so we got on here and read solution number one, gave it a shot, and after a couple of minutes, Vualah! it worked with flying colors, thanks Juliebutts! :-)

It does sometimes work to disconnect power supply from outlet overnight. I think it is a built in safeguard when you lose power. Anyway, it worked.
