Replace battery door finepix s1500 - FUJIFILM Finepix S1500fd Digital Camera

The only reset I can find is on page 89 of the manual.

It might be the salt water has got into its main chip circuit board or may be its blocking the power switch circuit. And there is a chance of the lens motor being stuck by it. You can also try another battery or recharge your battery and try it again. If you have no other choice that throwing it and buying another one then try washing it with normal water, let it dry then try again.

My camera was doing that too. I discovered that if I push the door of the battery compartment down hard the camera will work. I now have to rubberband the battery door so the batteries won't fall out....but now I have full use of my camera.

I have the same camera with the same problem. Have you found a solution?

Yes, that's it, basically. You may need a three-wing screwdriver, and be careful not to damage the little "hinge" that locks the ribbon to the circuitboard.

same problem with mine...

You may need to format the card in the camera. This will completely erase it so download the pictures first. Use a card reader if necessary.

try installing the drivers from the fujitsu website

if you already tried it w/ different computers & still it wont work, the device itself is already busted
