Thanks for the quick response. What is the timer's circuit? Is it something I need to get a qualified tech out for?

Thanks,

Yeah, only a qualified or pro aircon tech can replace it. Also the evaporator coil needs to be check for leak. If your unit is still under warranty better call the manufacturer. Anyway, here's how aircon works:

Window air conditioners work on exactly the same principles as a refrigerator or dehumidifier. They have a cooling system that refrigerates the air entering the unit. The moisture in the air condenses on the cold coils and drips into the bottom tray of the air conditioner. The warm air in the room is drawn over the evaporator coil, which collect heat. The heat is conducted into a refrigerant gas. The gas is then circulated to the condensing coils on the back of the unit where it is dissipated to the outside.

Heat will not come on due to open limit or rollout in circuit. This could be due to avoid damage. I advise calling a qualified service tech.

The timer's circuit is malfunctioning. Replacing it will fix the issue. Meanwhile Try to unplug the power of the unit for about 3-5 hours then check if it fixes it. Double check the air filter if it's frosting.

Error code timer light blinks twice

Depending on the model, this usually means "Serial signal (reverse) error at start up" which means that the indoor unit is not receiving a response from the outdoor unit when it tries to "talk" to it. It can be several causes but In my experience, it is usually the outdoor controller board. Again, depending on the model, there can be several boards in the outdoor unit any or all of which could be causing the fault as well as a faulty fan motor or compressor. The bottom line is that you are going to need a tech to take a look at it to diagnose properly.

I have a dometics air system in a 2006 fema camper the air works but when it cuts in the silver box in the ceiling off it will not restart it just makes a clicking noise

Sounds like the circuit breaker for 120V side of AC is tripping due to high amperage draw, which could be caused by weak breaker, faulty compressor, faulty start capacitor, or even improper wiring to list a few things. You should have it checked by a qualified RV tech or AC tech to determine which is the cause.

Try to unplug the unit power cord or "off" and "on" the circuit breaker to reset the error but if the problem persist then you need a qualified technician for that problem.
