Question about E-Machines Athlon XP 2200+ (rb-t2200-c67)

EMachines T3256 Desktop

I got a problem with the leds from the front panel. I disconnect them to clean the main board and now I don't remember the right order to reconnect it. I just can see the light of the power button and all the fans running but the computer doesn't start. I see the pins but I don't know nothing about the polarity (Positive or Negative)
I got the POWER SW (White and Black) The HDD LED (White and Red)  The POWER LED (White and Green)
Please help me!

Hi,

Generaly, the little connectors on the printed side will face the bottom of the case. Also, typically, Black is negative, and white/colour is positive (except on the power sw, it doesn't matter). On the motherboard, where the connectors go, there should be some kind of print saying where to plug them in. (IE, POWER SW, would go into PWR, and HDD LED would go into HDLED and POWER LED would go into PWRLED).

It may look different than this, but generally the same kind of layout, as you can see, it shows the positions, as well as positive and negative.

The fact that the fans are running indicates that your power Sw is connected properly.. Make sure that you didn't accidently pull out/loosen anothe connection to the motherboard/harddrive.

Owon the emachine t3256 I don't have a emachine folder or line on the all programs list

1) Right-click on Start

2) Left-click on Properties in the drop down list.

3) Left-click on the Start Menu tab. (Unless it automatically opens to the Start Menu tab)

4) Make sure there is a Green dot in the small circle, to the left of Start menu. If not left-click in the small circle to the left of Start menu.

Go below to the right, and click on Apply.
Now go below to the left, and click on OK.

Where do i get drivers for t3256 e-machine, drivers to completely r e-install Tower PC

Hello sage_morales,

A backup restore cd should have been created when the computer was first installed. But if you don't have the restore cd then this link on the emachines support site may have helpful information:

Looking for the front panel wiring diagram for a emachine T4510. The Power LED & the Power SW are disconnected! HDD LED was never unplugged! I need to know where they need to be!

If you look closely at the board there should be labels printed. The power switch plug can plug in either direction, but the LED must be the correct direction for it to work. No damage can be done by plugging the LED in backwards.

Looking for a front bezel for an emachines t3256 computer

http://tigerdirect.partsearch.com/Part/Gateway/E-Machines/3145952WOFB/Refurbished.aspx?ModelMfgName=Gateway&ModelBrandName=E-Machines&ModelNumber=T3256

I'm fairly confident that this is the part that you're looking (can't be 100% sure as site doesn't have pic) for although it seems kind of pricey to me. Another cheaper option I would consider is finding one on ebay. Even if it's non functional you should still be able to use the front plate and either keep the remaining parts for spare or relist on ebay and try to recoup your losses.
