Question about Polaroid PhotoMax PDC 640 Digital Camera
Is it possible to recover my digital images if I accidentally delete them?
You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.
If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.
One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted photos is to try some picture recovery software. Recommended asoftech photo recovery as it saved my life many times.

Yes, it is possible to recover the deleted
files back from a digital camera, as long as you've not overwritten these
original files with anything new.
Any newly taken picture or video on this camera could be a great threat to your previous files. Do, take care!
Plunge this digital camera to your PC and download a digital camera data recovery freeware to restore your needed file back:
Remember not to save the restored file on this digital camera in case of data recovery failure.

Hello, adi buc! Don't worry. I recommend you to use this photo recovery software (also recover audio and video files); it can help you recover your lost pictures from your Digital Camera (or Memory Card):
Photo Recovery for Windows Users
Photo Recovery for Mac Users
Kind Suggestion: Before your pictures are retrieved, do not save more files to the device (or memory card) in case the original files (your pictures) are overwritten.

I know this is an old post, but for others that read this, it's no problem at all to get deleted photos and videos back. Please see this post for several other free software options that you can download:

Bad copy pro is an excellent program for recovery. It even recovers after accidental format.

Any data recovery tool that can reach the card as a drive (in a reader, for example) should be able to recover the picture data. There are also specialized photo recovery tools such as PhotoRescue(http://www.datarescue.com/). OS-level format and recovery tools not specifically intended for photo media will likely mess the card up for digicam use, so be sure you have(or buy) a reader that includes the SMPREP.EXE reformatting utility. some links to other recovery programs: http://www.mediarecover.com/mediarecoverdemo.zip http://www.lc-tech.com/ProductDemo/PRC-demo.zip this one should be free: http://users.pandora.be/pchelpdesk/digital.html Good luck!
