Have the software on an old CD - when I reloaded software, it's saying it's outdated it says and I need to update. I've gone on line to Kodak.com , downloaded the update/upgrade for my Ko

You don't need the Kodak software.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

MY CAMERA IS A Z650 KODAK EASYSHARE, MY DAUGHTER LOST MY OLD MEMORY CARD SO I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A NEW MEMORY CARD BUT MY CAMERA SAYS IT NEEDS FORMATTING AND IT WONT LET ME ALSO IT SAYS INTERNAL MEMORY IS...

Just as I suggested. The Z650 works with SD cards, not SDHC cards. Most likely your old card was 2GB or smaller and your new card is 4GB or larger. Try using a 2GB SD card.
You can clear internal memory by deleting the pictures it contains. Download them to your computer first if you want to preserve them. You can get rid of all of them in one shot by using the "Format" command in the Setup menu.

CANT TRANSFERR PICS FROM CAMERA TO COMPUTER

They are two different solutions for your camera problem.

A. If your camera stores the pictures on a SD memory card, you can take the SD out of the camera and put it into a card reader connected to the computer.

B. Of course you can connect the camera by the USB cable, but for that to succed you need to download first and install the Easyshare software from Kodak.

here's a link for the software:

Good luck!,

1GB card for Kodak C330

The C330 uses MMC and SD cards, up to 2GB in size. You should be able to find 2GB SD cards at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store. 1GB cards are a little harder to find, as they've been pretty much replaced by 2GB cards. Even if you do find a 1GB card, it's probably not going to cost any less than a 2GB card. There's no disadvantage to using 2GB cards instead of 1GB cards.

I'm using for sand disk micro SD 2GB (NEW) card.the memory card open in my mobile phone(Nokia N73). smooth working.but the memory card not open in my computer. start-menu-my computer-removable...

Hello,

I've been encountering this issue. The problem may come from the card reader or the card holder. If possible, use a different card holder and of problem persists, try a different card reader or test on another computer.

Hope this helps!!

I have a Kodak Easyshare Z740 & we just purchased an 8gb sdhc SanDisk & it keeps saying it needs to be formatted it says everything will be deleted and then goes back to disk needs to be formatted...

You need to buy an SD card. the Z740 works with SD and MMC cards, not SDHC cards. While SDHC cards will fit into an SD slot, there are hardware differences which keep them from working. SD cards will work in SDHC devices but not the other way around.

Again, you need to use SD cards, which max out at 2GB. Anything larger is an SDHC card, which does not work in your camera.

What memory card do I buy for my C813 Kodak

The C813 uses SD cards. Be aware that SD cards top out at 2GB; any larger cards are actually SDHC cards. Even though SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they will not work. You can buy any of the major brands.

I disposed of the hard disk software that came with my C813 Kodak EasyShare digital camera. How can I get that disk replaced?

You don't need any software.

I put pictures on a san disk sdhc memory card unformatted & formatted the card is 4gb won't play on my kodak sp-dpf56e picture frame why?

I couldn't find very specific information about your picture frame. I did find out it is from a company called Smart Parts and it is not a Kodak frame.

If I had to guess, I would say that the frame is not SDHC compatible. What this means is that it only will work with cards up to 2gb (SD).

I saw a review site (http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews115912.html) that had a lot of reviews about how the frame does not like to read jpgs from the SD cards so this could be the issue if the one above is not.

My recommendation would be to try to use a 2gb card. If that does not work, try loading the pictures onto the frame directly from the computer.
