The forloop is designed to add or suptract the numbers in the prase. if your outcome is supposed to be that the number is supposed to count the times you enter the number then you are correct. but if not try using a if statement. ex.

for (i=0; i <= num; i++)
cout << i;

if (num == 5)
cout << num;
else
cout << " number entered is wrong";

My girlfriend got this laptop givin to her by her grandmother, she had forgotten the admin password but had a guest acc set up so it was no biggie, BUT... now its full of junk needs defragged/cleaned and...

Hi Chris,

Trying to get into the laptop's BIOS settings by pressing F11 at boot will NOT get you into the Admin account of Windows.

You can download and burn a copy of Hirens Boot CD - read about it here: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/ This is FREE software. Do not pay for it if you find it elsewhere and are prompted for payment. You may of course, donate a sum if you find it useful.

Once you've got a copy, load into your CD drive and reboot the PC. Either set the BIOS to boot the CD first, or select the CD Boot if presented with an option to do so at boot time.

The PC will bypass Windows and provide options. One will deal with resetting passwords. You will not be able to learn the old password, but you will be able to create a *new* password instead. Select the Admin account for a new password and make it something easy to remember. Once complete, remove the CD and reboot. While booting, press F8 and choose Safe Mode boot. The Admin account should be shown for WinXP - enter the password you just created.

Got to the control panel, and change your GF's User Account to Admin Level so that she'll be able to do just about the same thing the actual Admin account can do, without having to actually logon as the Admin. You should only use the Admin account when you have to - she should use her account with Admin level access 99.999% of the time.

I hope this helps & good luck!

The Apple iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and 3G allows you to browse the Internet using a Wi-Fi connection or a cellular connection.

You can purchase an iPad with an internal Verizon 3G network card.

Verizon has several pay-as-you-go plans to choose from in order to activate their service. Verizon has 1 GB, 3 GB, 5GB and 10GB data plans with no contracts that can be activated within the iPad 2 device.

Power on your iPad.

Slide your finger across the iPad to unlock the device. Enter your passcode if applicable.

Tap "Settings," "Cellular Data," "View Account."

Enter your "First Name," "Last Name" and "Telephone Number."

Enter your email address and password. This creates an account on the Verizon network where you can view your data usage and make changes if applicable.

Tap one of the following plans: "1 GB data per month for $20," "3 GB data per month for $35," "5 GB data per month for $50" and "10 GB data per Month for $80."

Tap the applicable credit card for payment and billing. Credit cards available are the following: "Visa," "MasterCard," "Discover" and "Amex."

Enter your "Credit Card," "Name," "Expiration Date," "Security Code" and "Billing Address." Tap "Next" to continue.

Review the Terms of Service and tap "Agree."

Review Billing and credit card information and tap "Submit." Activation happens immediately and you can begin using your iPad via a cellular connection.

Hope this helps

`What is the password for phoneix bios setup utility

Toshiba has been leading the pack in this kind of security for years now. The only way to reset the BIOS password on THAT laptop, is to send it back to Toshiba.

Now, do you know what Toshiba will do next? Toshiba will ONLY send the laptop back to the current registered owner.

So, here is what you do. If the previous owner registered their laptop with Toshiba,

THEY have to transfer the ownership to you... you can't do that. THEN, you can send it back to Toshiba to have the BIOS password cleared.

THEN Toshiba will send it back, repaired, to you.

You cannot jump the BIOS chip, since the password is not stored there, but rather it is stored in an EPROM chip that does not require electricity.

So you cannot even remove the CMOS battery to clear the password.

You cannot use a special program and a floppy disc, because that Toshiba will not access the floppy disc before it accesses the BIOS... and since you will hit the password first, you can't access that software to try to clear the password

or you might try

If the Wireless connection you're attempting to access is your own, you will need to take some steps to discover your wireless connection's authentication password. If however the wireless connection you're attempting to connect to is not your own, don't continue reading unless the person who owns the wireless connection has given you permission to connect to their network.

Anyways, the easy way to discovering your router's wireless connection password would be to check the router's manuals for the default wireless encryption password. If the password listed doesn't work when you attempt to connect to the wireless connection, or if you don't have a manual, try the hard way...

The hard way requires you to directly connect to your router via a CAT5 (Ethernet) cable. Afterward follow these instructions for gaining access to your router's control panel:

Go to Start>Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt. From here type in: ipconfig
PressENTER to execute the command. A list should be returned listing some IPAddresses. Look for the one associated with, "Default Gatewaty."

Here is a picture.

Afterward open your Internet Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc...) and type the IP Address associated with the default gatewayinto the address field of the browser. DO NOT add www. or .com.Afterward press ENTER or click GO as if you wanted to visit a website.

Here is a picture.

Onceyou're at the control panel you will probably be asked to log in. Ifyou do not know your login details you can always try the default. Tofind these you can either search your router's user manual or head tothe online search engines entering your router's manufacturer's name,the router's model #, and the words, "default password" into the samesearch request to bring up the default login credentials. For example:

Linksys WRT54G default password

Here is a picture.

If you still can't manage to log in to your router's control panel you will have to contact the technical support department of your router's manufacturer asking them for assistance in resetting the login user ID and password of the router.

Once you manage to log in to your router's control panel, locate the area of your router dealing with the wireless settings of your router. Once you locate that region make sure the authentication type is WPA-PSK and that the encryption type is TKIP. If those options are not available, just use the WPA authentication/encryption type. Afterward locate the region that lists your router's authentication password. Once you locate it write it down or follow instruction to locate it.

Once you have your wireless password written down attempt to connect to the wireless connection using the password you just wrote down. If it works, hooray! If not, try altering the, "Wireless Mode." While, "Auto" is convenient, not all wireless adapters can work with it. Change between the modes attempting to connect to the wireless connection every time you switch it to a new mode.

If for some reason it will still not connect, consider contacting the person who made your router for assistance in connecting to the wireless connection.
