You're going to have to mod your xbox 360 in order to do that. once your xbox is modded, you wont be able to go online. it would be much better if you bought the game. try buying from gamestop.
Depends on what you are looking for boss. As stated by Erus, yeah, you can mod it to play iso's off the hard drive. But, if you simply want to install the game on yours xbox hard drive you should be able to do that. it will erase all the info off the hard drive but plug it in and choose the drive in the Memory Options, there you should be able to press Y to format it. after that you should be able to go to the game while it's in the drive and choose 'Install' (it takes a few seconds to pop up sometimes) after that the game will install to the hard drive. You still need the disk in the drive to run the game, but it no-longer loads soully off the ROM, making most games load faster.
Yes there is a way to do this but no you cannot play online. Xbox live has a verification system and can detect modified xbox systems. Once a Xbox is detected as modified, it is banned from xbox live and would require a clean code to get back on after the system is no longer modified.
if you are in the united states, the practice to modchipping is illegal and the purchase of such items are a felony.
Yes if you have modded your box to use an external hard drive you will be banned as far as I know. You could have just copied your games to a thumb drive or xbox hdd and been fine.
how do you copy it to a thumb drive?
As far as not using an original copy of the game to launch it copying to a thumb drive won't help

The only way to do that is a mod, and you can forget Live after, you will be able to play games off your HDD just not with your friends on live, as others have said. Sorry I wish I could help but if you mod your console to play burned games you can still play on live if you use a real, not burned game, and not from a hard drive that has been installed from hardware modding.
Chris unfortunately there is not a way to install games to an external device and play the games. Also note if you do install the game you will still have to have the disk in the drive to play the game.
Currently I have this setup for Halo Reach because one of my copies got damage that the game would lockup during game play. So I used the good copy to install it and then all I need the bad disk for is to verify that I own the game.
Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

I'm not aware of any way to do it that is easy or legit. Sorry. :( Dano
