Question about Sony RDR-VX515 DVD Recorder/VCR
Can I just plug in the dvd recorder combo and not connect it to a tv and put a blank dvd in and my vhs tape that I want to transfer to dvd. I know that I won't see what I'm transferring if its not all connected through the tv. can that be done
As long as you've got the DVD recorder set to the correct "channel" I can't see why it won't work. Why don't you just try it out on a DVD-RW first ? Use RCA cables from the VCR "OUT", to the DVD recorders "IN" sockets and you'll be okay. If for some unknown reason it doesn't copy you haven't used a good disc. Probably won't copy anything with Macrovision(or other copy protection) though.
