Sharp uxb700 document jammed appears in the message window blinking-cant clear it. no sign of any paper jammed already tried unplugging and clearing memory

my scaner icon window show this messege:
an automatic socument feeder paper jam has been detected. clear the jam and try scaning again

DEAR SIR WHERE YOU REMOVE THE PAPER IN THE MACHINE THAT SECTION THERE IS PAPER PATH SENSOR ,THAT SENSOR POSITION IS ABNORMAL PLEASE CHECK THE SENSOR OF THAT SECTION WHERE YOU REMOVED THE PAPER

If paper is jammed, a Paper jam message will appear on the control panel display.

Follow these steps to clear the jam:

1. Gently pull any jammed paper out of the output tray or sheet feeder.
   
   
2. If the paper is stuck inside, turn off the Epson Stylus CX.
   
   
3. Open the scanner, remove the jammed paper and torn pieces, close the scanner, and turn the Epson Stylus CX back on.
   
   Note: Be sure to check the far left of the carriage area when checking for jammed paper. Paper that is jammed there may be hidden from view.

If paper jams inside the Automatic Document Feeder, clear the jam as follows:

1. Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover and remove any jammed paper.
   
   
   
   
2. If necessary, lift the document cover and remove any paper that has jammed inside.
   
   
   
   
3. Press OK to clear any messages on the display screen.

Hi, 

open the rear access door and clean the rollers with a cloth, dam it with little water and unplug the machine and press and hold the ON button for 1 min and release the button and plug in the power cord, it should resolve the issue.

Just to make sure, have you opened it all up, removed the ink/toner and inspected everything?

If you've already done that, try unplugging the unit from the wall power for 1 minute, and then plug it back in, some printers will not clear until a power cycle has been performed.

It sounds like a bad encoder strip (ribbon cable). Uneconomical to repair.

Sounds like a job that sent which requires differnt size paper or just froze up the machine.
What you will most likely have to do is, search your menus and setups, and find memory clear. And run a memory clear process.
There some corruption in the fax machines software that needs reset, That will do it.
You will have to then reset date and time, etc. But that should do it.
