Time no manual, need to know how to change the time

Having the same damn problem it's not in the settings menu or I would have changed it would need to know how to change this to regular time it's very annoying

Changing the timing belt is something that usually needs done if it has not been changed and the car has over $100,000 miles. Most Festivas last for a lot longer than that. Mine is going on well over 200,000! All you need is the Festiva shop manual which you can find on eBay for about $10 to $30, if you hunt around and wait for a bargain. The manual fully explains every step and makes it easy if you are mechanically inclined. If you are new to auto repair, make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing check it for you, so that the repair will be safe and last. If you have a large library near you, its possible to find a Chiltons or other brand of repair manual that covers your Festiva timing belt repair procedure.

General rule on most cars with a timing belt is change somewhere between 80K and 120K. On some cars, failure of timing belt will destory the engine.

If car is only worth $2500, and labor (parts are cheap on this usually) is $1000, if you can't do it yourself, need to decide if you risk it.

Are you willing to throw away the car when the timing belt breaks? Or spend the $1000, and have some other failure that renders the car useless 5000 miles later?

This is really a financial decision you have to make. If engine blows, you may be able to get $500 for it from junkyard, and you still have your $1000 saved from not changing the timing belt.

If you are going to try changing it yourself you are going to need a repair manual. Owners manual do not have this kind of information in them. You must follow the repair procedure exactly or you can damage your engine. To check the belt you must remove the front engine covers. Mazda recommends to inspect the belt at 60,000 and replace at 105,000.

You need to find the external source to change the music. It can be a radio, music service, recored information etc. Look for the Electra Elite Attendants manual to change the time and date. If you prees "feature" 9# enter the time , press recall to cahnge the am/pm. press hold to change calendar settings or feature to exit. When changing calendar settings, press recall to select day of the week dial # to move cursor to day of month field. Enter day of month. press recall to select month. Dial # to move cursor to year field. Enter last 2 digits of year. press feature to exit. The time is stored on the phone system, not the phone. You first need to know which phone system you have. This phone will work on a few different Avaya phone systems (AT&T and Lucent are now Avaya)
