The airbag system is stand alone and when the light is lit, the system has registered a fault and is disengaged. The only way to fix it is to get rid of the fault. You will need a scan tool that can access the air bag control module and find out where the issue is.

Remove the unti and put it on the bench and use a DC voltage to power the unit. If this wont power on then there is fault within. It can be serious or minor but unless you start with a flow chart it will be hard to confirm, so start from the fuse and power to the processor .
We have this same issue with a Perkins model mp 400E here in Afghanistan. It will start up and run for about 30 seconds at its normal 50HZ 1500 rpm operating speed, then it will gradually start to slow down and shut itself off around 1350 rpm. There are 4 vertical fault lights on the control panel, and the bottom one stays red and refuses to reset. We can't figure out what is causing this fault light or the stalling engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
When there is a failure in one of the many systems and circuits that are monitored by your computer system, the computer stores fault codes that have a corresponding description that will tell you which of the systems or circuits are failing. In order to properly diagnose the problem, you must first retrieve the fault codes from the computer system to get a starting base with which to begin your diagnosis of the problem. Without these fault codes, you can spend a LOT of time and waste a LOT of MONEY trying to figure out what is wrong with your vehicle. Without these fault codes, anyone trying to HELP you figure out what is wrong with your vehicle can do little more than "GUESS" what may be causing the problem.

Replacing the motherboard lithium battery demands some care. It seems to be a simple task, but it is not.
The lithium battery may use basically three socket types: socket with upper tab (Figure 1), socket with lateral tab (Figure 2), and the socket into which the battery stands instead of lying (Figure 3).
Figure 1: Socket with upper tab.
Figure 2: Socket with lateral tab.
Figure 3: Another kind of battery socket.

If you have an extended warranty you need to call and verify coverage as these policies vary greatly in what they will cover. Some of these policies only cover the powertrain while others cover virtually everything on the vehicle.
yeah i used to have this problem too forever, untill i was playing around with them and figured out the problem. on your remote there is a shift function, while holding shift you need to turn up rear speakers also on the remote, i think its near 1 or 2 or somthing. just look for rear level, turn that up and make sure you have the proper audio setting and that should fix it.
