I thought the problem was fixed but I had to make arrangments for another service call. He never showed! I'm frustrated with the machine, the service and running home after work to wait on people or calls that which don't correct the problem. The machine was purchased June 14, 2008 from Lowes. Their service guys aren't any help eithr.

Every web forum I've looked under does not list an "F35" error code for this model washer. You are not the only person to experience this problem. I've seen postings of several customers with the same complaint. They all seemed to provide the same feedback that even the repairmen that came out to repair their washers were unable to determine what the fault meant. The only "cure" I did find was a Central Control Unit (CCU) replacement that corrected the problem. I do know the newer models of the Duet and Kenmore Elite HE5 have different fault codes. I am not familiar with all of them. That's why I suggested you look for the tech sheet to see if there is a reference to it. Again, I reiterate, if this is a recent purchase, the repairs will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If the technicians cannot repair the appliance, they are supposed to replace it. I apologize for not being better informed.

I apologize for not responding sooner. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your new washer. I have been doing some research and haven't found a listing of error codes for your model washer yet. The manufacturer normally inserts a tech sheet inside the washer behind the lower panel under the door. It will be sealed in plastic directly behind the bottom panel, or along one of the interior cabinet walls. The tech sheet has all the troubleshooting data (along with error codes). Can you please take a look and see if you still have this sheet? If you find the tech sheet and still do not understand what to do, can you please reply back and let me know how I can assist you? I do apologize for not having a definite answer for you yet. This is the best I can do at the moment. I'm still looking...

PS If this appliance is less than a year old, it should still be covered under the manufacturer warranty. If they can't fix it, they're supposed to replace it.

F 35 Does your machine use alot of water? The pressure switch has failed or the tube has a hole in it. If the machine is new and purchased at Sears it is under a warranty for defects for a year.

How long should a normal wash cycle take on the whirlpool duet?

One hour and 10 minutes is normal for your washer. All front load washers take a long time. They wash a lot better than top loaders. So to answer your question.. yes its normal.

the panel below the door has 3 screws under the bottom lip of the panel. remove the screws to get the panel off youll see the pump right in front of you. you can unscrew the cap on the pump and remove it to clean out the punp. thats where 99% of clogges are on that washer
