Where can I get a blower motor for old Intertherm UCG-1000-7 baseboard heater?

I also have a UCG-1000-7 heater from 1978 in the bathroom next to the floor. The last two nights have been quite cold for our area and for some reason the unit comes on once about 3:30AM even though it's turned OFF. We then turn it on to full then back off and after cooling down it shuts off ok. We pulled it out and opened it up. All looks OK except for 38 years of dust which was extreme. We dusted good and put it back in the wall to see if that helps. Any ideas why this may be coming on in the middle of the night? Thanks for any help. You can also email me at pismodise@gmail.com. my name is Bill.

Intertherm baseboard heater model 1580. Need thermostat

Home Depot carries I believe 2 different T-stats , wall mount, and unit mount. Try there. Or you will need to get it touch with the manufacturer. Also have info, 120 or 240 volt.

Intertherm ac/heater in a mobile home shuts off and won't come back on for quite a while. Then it runs fine for days, weeks, sometimes months. HELP

I am assuming it's an electric unit (most are). Sounds like there is a low voltage short somewhere. This could also be a thermostat problem as well. If it were a relay switch, it would not work at all because when they go bad, thats it they dont work anymore. There isn't an inbetween. I'm leaning more towards a low voltage short. Make sure that your low voltage wiring is tight and not loose. Be careful not to work on the unit with power to it.

Electric immersion heater keeps cutting out

Sounds to me like you have a bad thermostat. You should be able to give a model number to any local plumbing supply place and get one for replacement. make sure power is of the unit before replaceing.

Intertherm rooftop air conditioner problem

With two units of the same make and one works right and the other does not you can use an OHM meter to check the resistance through the heaters on the good one then compare it to the readings on the one which is not performing. NOTE: with the power off of course.
