How to transfer my data from my sony A100 to my Computer

Use a USB cable.
If you use one of the OS on your computer

  • Windows Vista (except for Starter)
  • Windows XP Home Edition and Professional (*1)
  • Windows Me
  • Windows 2000 Professional
  • Mac OS X (v10.1.3 or later) (*2)
(*1) 64-bit editions is not supported
(*2) As of June 2008, operations have been confirmed with Mac OS X (10.1.3 - 10.5).
A recording medium larger than 2GB is supported in v10.3 or later.
Note: Operation is not assured in an environment based on an upgrade of the operating systems described above or in a multi-boot environment.

The A100 does not support USB connection on Windows 98/98 SE. For that you can use a card reader instead.

Storage driver of nv10 don't support OS windows 7: what can I do?

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

COOLPIX S50 Digital Camera connect to My PC (windows 98)

If you are using Win 98 then please make sure that you have USB mass storage device drivers installed or else your computer might not detect the camera thats connected to the USB drive. You can get the USB drivers from the following link:
http://www.technical-assistance.co.uk/kb/usbmsd98.php
Please let me know if that works..

C-150 OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

By connecting the camera to a computer with the provided USB cable,
images on a card can be transferred to the computer. Some OS's (operating
systems) may need a special setup when connecting to the camera for the
first time. Follow the chart below. For details on the procedures in the chart,
refer to the “Reference Manual” on the CD-ROM and the “Software
Installation Guide” (included in the CD-ROM package).
Identifying the OS
Windows 98/98 SE
(Second Edition)
Windows 2000
Professional/Me/XP
Mac OS 9.0 - 9.1/OS X
*OS 8.6: See below.

Connecting the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable
Installing the USB
driver for Windows 98
Confirming the computer recognizes the camera
Downloading image files
Disconnecting the USB cable

Even if your computer has a USB connector, data transfer may not function correctly if
you are using one of the operating systems listed below or if you have an add-on USB
connector (extension card, etc.).
● Windows 95/NT 4.0
● Windows 98/98 SE upgrade from Windows 95
● Mac OS 8.6 or lower (except Mac OS 8.6 equipped with USB MASS Storage support
1.3.5 installed at the factory)
● Data transfer is not guaranteed on a home-built PC system or PCs with no factory
installed OS.
You can view images using: graphics applications that support the JPEG
file format (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc.); Internet browsers (Netscape
Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.); CAMEDIA Master
software; or other software. For details on using commercial graphics
applications, refer to their instruction manuals.

Check whether the software CD you received with the camera, support the Win XP OS. In case it doesn't, go to the Canon web site and download the relevant drivers for you camera and OS. Good luck!

DSC F-505 doesn't support Mac OS?

SInce the only storage option on the F505 is Memorystick, you would need a memorystick reader. Sony has a MemoryStick/PCMCIA adapter card that would fit in standard PCCard slots. Once the images are in your computer they are standard JPEGs. Go to the Cybershot forum on http://www.mavican.com and ask what the F55 Mac users do. It also uses only memorysticks.
