Question about Panasonic PT-53WX53 53" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

Panasonic TV Panasonic model pt-47wx54j will not stay on, after power cycle the led blinks 3 times. Any ideas? Thanks Bob

The 3 blinks symptom is for busted convergence IC,you must replaced this IC in order that will works better again.STK 392-110 ICs and it's associated resistor,this resistor automatically chagne value,can caused truoble even though you change the ICs.If you bring this to a service center they cost you $600 to $700,but if you buy the repair kit you can save more,don't wory it is very easy because there is intallation guide including in the repair kit. Feel free to ask whatever the result...

Thats the error code for convergence. You will need to replace both convergence ICs they are STK392-110 you can get replacement ICs at the following link with free instalation instructions.

What are the error codes for a Panasonic PT-47WX 42 TV


Hi,
3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.
Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info.
Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards.

that is an indication that you need to replace the convergence IC's if you are handy and can do light soldering please contact me at techman32katyahoodotcom for a DIY solution and save yourself at least 400 bucks or so

count the led blink as thats an error code. If it blinks three times its indicating the convergence Circuit has failed. Let me know the actual blink number and I will assist you.

3 blinks is the error code for the convergence ICs. You need to replace both STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacement ICs at the following link and they provide installation instructions with pictures.

PT-47WX54J 5-blinks between pasues - no audio or video


IC4511 is defective when the led blinks 5 times. that part is unavailable so you will need the entire circuit board.

Your convergence ICs need to be changed. 3 Blinks is a convergence error. I can post a link where you can get new ICs and they include free instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself, they also offer instant messaging with a tech while your doing the repair thats a free service when you but their replacement parts. Yes,try cleaning your mirror inside of tv they do get real dirty, also clean dirt off of tube lenses there are 3 of them red,green,blue. these are your picture tubes. Thank You for using FixYa and Have a nice Day.

The 3 times LED code points to no fan rotation. There are 2 fans. Check the larger fan first, p/n = FBL12G12LS, located near the lamp. Even though that fan may be rotating, it may be slow.

had the same problem with mine and I replaced horizontal deflection transistor located by the high voltage tranformer, its the big transistor by the heatsink, check for any shot and replace if you find problem. worked for me
