How to set voice mail button on the phone - so i need not to dial intercom 777 and also how to set one touch button on the phone for music - so I need not to dial feature 19.... thank you

What happens when you dial 165 on the intercom? If you get voice mail, then try dialing 7104 165 # on the intercom. That sets CF-No Ans to voice mail for your set and the FWD/DND button should light solid (or not, it's a program option) or flash. If you dial 7101 it should turn on Do Not Disturb (7100 cancels). In DND, the FWD light should flash.

Once you have set these two conditions up, the FWD/DND button has 3 states, FWD, DND, and OFF.

What do you mean? You know the code to get into voice mail, so in my wildest dreams I can't imagine why you would want a button that dials 777. If you mean VM transfer, you can reprogram the button to voicemail transfer by pressing FEATURE 00 the button and FEATURE 14.

It's possible that the button is already programmed for that function.

The default password on partner voicemails is 1234. The reason for the call returning to the extension that transferred the call to the new extension is probably because the cover vms isn't set up for the new extension.
To check the vms cover for that extension, at either extension 10 or 11 press feature 00 and press the left hand intercom button twice. The display will say system programming.
Enter #310, the display will sayAutomatic VMS Cover Extension:
enter in the extension number of the new extension.
The screen will say either "1 assigned" or "2 not assigned"
enter in 1 (assigned)
press feature 00 when finished.

It depends on the voice mail, but any phone should give you access to the voice mail system 777 on the intercom, then your mailbox number and password and follow the prompts.

7730 phones tend to be installed on TA series phone systems, which have TVA or TVS voice mail systems on it. The VM comes from the FWD button being set to forward calls to ext 107 or 115. Is that the voice mail you want to remove? That's cancelled by dialing 7100 on the intercom.

Your voice mail could also be coming from the central office. That's where you dial a phone number or press the MESSAGE and blinking CO button to retrieve it. That's removed by the telco.

If your phrase "get the voice mail off my phone" actually means retrieve your mesages, that should be able to be done by selecting the intercom and pressing the MESSAGES button. You may need a password or to follow the tutorial if you've never set up the mailbox. Panasonic sysgtems still take messages on new mailboxes but you have to set it up before you can get them :-)

A word of caution, the 7730 phones work on any of 18 or so Panasonic systems. It was made during the TA-624/824 TAW848 era for analog systems, but most Pana phones are backward and forward compatible.
The solution provided here is for the TA 624/824 systems.

press feat 00. touch btn to program dial feat14. this is now a voice mail transfer button. to program an ext button, touch btn to program, press left intercom dial 2 digit extension. Can you dial 777 and get voice mail?

check the voice mail ports. Can you dial them and have them answer?

Also check that each extension is programmed to hunt to voice mail in the partner programming

Your phone is fowarded to Voice Mail and do not disturb is on. Turn DND button off. If it is not the case on your phone press intercom # key 601 then hang up. Then do intercom #key 604, dial your voice mail extension numbe, r press the speed dial Select button, dial 16, press the redial button then hang up.

Well, you are heading down the wrong road. To change the Auto Attendant message:
Dial Intercom 777
When prompted for the mailbox and password:
Mailbox "0" followed by the # sign
"1234" followed by the # sign
option 3 will allow you to change the recording.


To change the display names on an extension:
AT EXT. 10 OR 11:
Press "feature 00"
Press the LEFT intercom button twice
Press the RIGHT intercom button and the display will say "Extension program" enter extension you want to program
Press the LEFT intercom button
Enter the valid intercom name(see table below)
If you make a mistake, press mic/hfai to start over
feature 00, when you are done.
