Mouse Have had this mouse for a couple of weeks. Was working fine then stopped today - put in new battery - green light comes on then goes out. Won't work at all

It could be the laser in the mouse burned out.

Remove the battery and try again.

If the laptop works ok with the charger connected (with battery taken out), then the battery needs to be replaced.

Refer to user guide on how to remove the battery.

If light you are talking about is on the power supply itself, you need to replace the power supply. Look on E-Bay.

If the light you are talking about is the AC power light on the laptop, then there are two things that are most likely. First is the power receptacle in the laptop. I have personally seen many of these fail. The other thing is the battery. With the system Off, and power supply disconnected, remove the battery. Wait a couple of minutes and put back in and plug in charger. If it continues to happen then it is most likely the power receptacle in the laptop.

put the batteries in, insert the receiver into the USB port, push the button on the top of the receiver. It worked for me when I had problems.

Wireless mouse goes in and out


Clean the contacts where the battery connects. My wireless mouse was doing the same thing even with new batteries. I had to use a toothpick with a piece of Pencil eraser on its tip to clean the contacts in my mouse.
