I have a S107G Gyro which would hold enough of a charge to fly approx 8 to 10 min. It worked great for approx 30 to 40 hrs of flying.
Now the heli will only hold enough of a charge to fly for approx 2 min.
It still has a charge to spin the rotors, but not enough power to lift the heli off the ground. Any suggestions. Jon

1.Take out charging wires. 2.turn off your heli and insert charging socket into your heli's socket. 3.the charging green light will light up while charging. 4.charging complete, the green light will turn off. 5.pull out the wires and you are ready to fly. Let the heli's battery cool down for approx. 15 minutes before charging.
Make shure transmitter is on and ready BEFORE powering heli and let rest the heli without any mouvement while and after powering up ( gyro setup ). Receiver maybe need to be bind for it to work, look for binding procedure in manual.
Hi, I had a toilet bowl effect after changing the blades on my s107g. After making sure the shaft was seated properly, I simply adjusted the tension on the screws holding the blades in position and after a bit of trial and error tightening and loosening: it's as good as new!
I just read a question like this, and it seems it should. It may take longer to charge though, but I am not sure. sorry I couldnt get you the link to the question like yours. ;)
r u charging from the controller? if so put luthium aa batterys in controller the ones you have in there now may not be giving a full charge, you r turning the controller on when charging heli right? wait for the chareer light to turn back to green from red will tell u charge is done. u must have a computer 2 have posted this so charge ur heli from computer wait 4 it 2 light up red (the usb plug) b sure heli is off when charging the little swith should b forward toward nose of heli if it still wont lift off after a good charge b sure the top part of the blades are tight on shaft, its the two screws just under the top blades 1 of the 2 must b tight on the shaft or it wont get enough power if it is slipping, if it still wont lift off u may have a bad li po battery never run it way down!! always stop flying when u c the heli start to not have enough power to hover, always stop and let batt cool dn then charge, then after charge try 2 wait 4 a little bit b 4 flying 2 let batt cool from charging, i know it is very hard 2 wait, hoppfully u have not fryed the battery if u still cant get it e mail me and i will help u get up and flying good luck the s 107 is my main bird i work on them 4 friends all the time if i had it 2 look @ u would b fly n n 5 mintues my e mail is [email protected]
Normal start-up would be: Turn helicopter on. Flashing light in nose should come on, as well as another blinking light (sometimes towards the rear, sometimes in the "cockpit" area) the helicopter MUST then be placed on a level stable surface until the 'other' light stops blinking, usually a couple/few seconds. This is the gyroscopes synching up and determining the "level" head orientation they will be maintaining. Then power the controller on. Making sure you're not covering the front of the controller with your hands, (the IR signals come out the front like a TV remote) push the throttle control (left joystick) up until the blades move. This what the horribly translated instructions mean by setting the helicopter and controller together. Don't charge with the controller. It kills your controller's batteries, (which will last nearly forever if you don't use them as your heli's charger) and seems to make the birds act weird. Use the USB charger and a fully powered USB port (back of your desktop, not the front) and go by the light on the charger not an arbitrary time. Plug in charger NOT connected to heli. Look at the light. That is what the light will look like when unit is fully charged. Make sure heli is off. Plug into charger. Charge until light is fully on. If you unplug heli and the light gets brighter, it's not charged fully. A weak USB port (on a laptop or the front side data port on most desktops) may take several hours to achieve full charge. Always cool 10 mins after charging AND 10 mins after flying. Never drain fully, it will kill the Li/Po battery. Land and power off as soon as you can't maintain altitude. If it is really charged, and you turn it on and nothing happens... no lights nothing. Then it's defective/toast. Return for refund. These SYMA helis are awesome, and HANDS DOWN the best on the market... but they can be picky/tricky on how they are treated.
you should have charged your heli BEFORE 1st flight.......anyway,,plug computer end of usb charge cord into computer......turn heli OFF....before you plug cord into heli look at computer end of cord,, should be bright red light inside......now plug other end of cord into heli.....bright red light goes out! when heli is fully charged bright light on computer end of cord comes back on......disconnect heli right away.....if left on charge your battery could wear out....it takes about 50-60 minutes
fully charge your heli----turn on transmitter-wait 2 seconds-turn on heli wait for blinking green led to stop blinking-turns steady.....rev up with a quick full throttle and back to idle--happy flying
