Hi there I've just looked at that TV model, and it appears that your TV does not support a separate audio connection for HDMI sockets. It also appears that your laptop model has a issue with sending audio via HDMI. Are you running Linux, or windows? Hope this helps TV_Doctor
Hi, It doesnt sound like a problem with you laptop, rather its most likely to be the router. People can edit the settings so that only their IP adress can connect. If you can connect with limited connectivity, again its the router, not connecting properly. Can you connect to any router? i take it you're not connection to your own XD
Loading XP back on isn't the problem, it will be the chipset drivers that you will need for your onboard graphics, sound etc... before you format and load XP back onto your laptop contact Toshiba for the chipset drivers for your laptop.
If XP is causing you problems, why no repair the verison you already have on there? If you put the XP disk in when given the choice to press enter to install or 'R' for repair. Press R. It will replace any corrupted files to your system with new ones.
