Re: tv not working
Remove all the external connections connected to the tv.then un plug the tv wire from the power outlet.then after some time just plug only the tv wire back in the power outlet.do not connect the other devices and check if the tv is working as normal or not.if it does not works then
its the problem in the power supply board of your tv. check for the fuse on the power supply board. for any blown capacitors or ics.on the powersupply board. also check for any loose soldering joints on the power supply board. calling a tech is much advisable.if do not have proper technical knowledge.
it will not be too costly to get it repaired. it is worth getting it repaired.as this is a common fault faced by many customers.

try holding remote in front of a video recorder and if you push button on remote and view through video recorder you should be able to see the light blinking coming out of remote - if you see the light coming out of remote and it is still not working then the tvs sensor went bad
besides trying to unplug tv for a few minutes there is no reset for this issue
I have a 36" Panasonic TV (manufactured in 2004) that suddenly stopped working. It was working fine up until I turned it off one evening before going to bed. The next morning, when I went to turn it on, NOTHING. No power indicator light, NOTHING. I'm a big "do-it-yourselfer", so I took off the back cover of the TV case and discovered that it was just a burnt-out fuse. It is a small "snap-in" glass fuse that should be mounted to a circuit board near the area where the main power chord enters the back of the TV. I found the replacement fuses at Radio Shack. The fuse came in a package of 4, for $2.99. Cheap fix and works great! The biggest problem I had with the fix is that the TV weighs 386 lbs., so I had to get help lifting it out and back into the entertainment center.
You can try unplugging the TV power chord, leave unplugged for several hours, then plug back in and try it.
If no results you will need it serviced as there are many possibilities. If the light is blinking in a pattern, example flashes three times then pauses then flashes three times again, the number of times it is blinking can give the servicor a clue as to what circuit is at fault.
