Question about Mitsubishi WD-57731 57" Projection HDTV
It sounds like you have the exact problem I experienced yesterday. The green timer light blinks on, I hear a fan powering on, then it powers itself back off again. Did you get a solution to your problem? Is it the same solution of replacing the capacitors? Or did replacing the lamp help?
It is a common failure of the 57" Mits. DLP. The problem is a defective thermistor and is covered by Mits. Contact a local repair shop and they will fix it free (parts & labor)
