I have an autopage RF-220 car alarm installed in my ford F-150 truck and I was checking a fuse on my truck and after putting the fuse back in the proper location I went to start my truck and absoluely nothing happens. My remote won't work nor does trying to exit valet do anything. What do I do to reactivate the system or at the least override the system so I can start and drive my truck. Why would taking out an unrelated fuse do this to the system. Help!

Hi a have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma prerunner I don't know what happened but my autopage RF-220 doesn't work the light is on but when I click the remote to lock or unlock nothing happens

If your Autopage RF-220 remote is not working on your 2006 Toyota Tacoma prerunner, there are a few potential causes for the issue and steps you can try to troubleshoot:
  1. Battery: Make sure the battery is charged and installed correctly in the remote. A dead or low battery can prevent the remote from working.
  2. Distance: The remote may be out of range of the vehicle. Try moving closer to the vehicle and see if the remote will work.
  3. Interference: There may be other electronic devices nearby that are interfering with the remote's signal. Try moving away from electronic devices and see if the remote will work.
  4. Programming: The remote may need to be reprogrammed to work with the vehicle. Check the vehicle's owner's manual for instructions on reprogramming the remote.
  5. Remote Antenna: The remote antenna might be damaged or not working properly, check the antenna and see if it's damaged or not working properly.
  6. Receiver: The receiver inside the vehicle may be malfunctioning. Check the receiver and see if it's damaged or not working properly.
  7. Fuses: The fuses for the remote system may be blown, check the fuses in the vehicle and see if they need to be replaced.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's best to contact a professional mechanic or the manufacturer for further assistance or to see if the remote needs to be replaced.

Autopage XT-74 Wire diagram for wiring back into my 2002 Ford F-150.

Question edited to what I think you were trying to say!

Unfortunately there are no installation manuals for that unit. You will need to take it to the original installer.

Autopage alarm rf 220

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ALARM HAS FAILED. WHAT YEAR IT THE TRUCK. THE WIRING WILL BE AT THE KNEE BOLSTER. YOU WILL SEE A YELLOW HEAVIER GAGE WIRE THAT IS THE IGNITION WIRE.THE WIRE WILL BE CUT AND SPLICED INTO THE ALARM WIRING . JUST CUT AND SPLICE THE WIRE TOGETHER AND SEE IF IT STARTS. DEPENDING ON THE DETAILS OF THE TRUCK YEAR AND SUCH. WIRE CAN CHANGE COLOUR, POST TRUCK DETAILS AND I CAN POST WIRING DIAGRAM.

Why does the alarm in my car go off when I try to start it with the remote car starter?

If this is the vehicle's factory alarm that is being triggered then your factory alarm must be disarmed prior to the remote starter sequence. The Autopage unit has a factory disarm wire available for this purpose. When the alarm triggers again try turning the key in the driver's door to see if there is a factory disarm wire available in the vehicle or if the factory alarm is RF disarm only. If it is the after market alarm that is being triggered then you made need to decrease the sensitivity.

Alarm burning issues. Electrical or just a cheap alarm?

means you have a shorted wire, it keeps touching the body or a ground wire causing the door to say its open. you also more then likely have a bad door switch. check the simple things first
