Suddenly I have no power to my dishwasher. I checked my main house electrical fuses and they seem fine. Is their another fuse in the washer itself to check?

Do some more experiments...Check power is getting to the power point at the back of machine (maybe plug in a lamp or something if you don't have a multi-meter), check external cable for damage (while not plugged in). Is there any signs of power at all? Any lights that come on or beeps made? If your model doesn't have lights to begin with, it could be a problem in the trip switch in the door for example. There probably is an internal fuse... only problem is that if it did blow, it might have for a reason... keep investigating

My IKEA dishwasher Renlig DWT160 will not turn on no lights. I've checked the fuse and power supply

If the unit is totally dead, the main board most likely is blown. You say you checked the "fuse"--is there a fuse on the dishwasher or are you referring to the electrical panel fuse box in your house? Did you recently have a power outage? Usually, within 3-4 weeks after having one, appliances will start failing due to damaged chips on the main control boards. The problem could also be a damaged user interface board. If 120volts is getting to the main board but the unit is dead, I'd highly suspect the board is bad. I've also seen lots of bug infestation damage to boards--classic signs are roach tracks in and around the boards--they're attracted to the warmth and will walk across the live boards, shorting them out.

please follow the steps and fix it. God bless you
her won't start, the user control and display board may be defective. Check for power to the washer first.

Timer

If the washer won't start the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.

Line Fuse

If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown.

Thermal Fuse

If the washer won't start the thermal fuse may have blown. It can be tested for continuity. Watch our fuse testing video for more information.

Line Fuse and Holder

If the washer won't start the line fuse might have blown, or the line fuse holder might be damaged and need to be replaced.

Main Control Board

If the washer won't start the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other parts and causes first.

Door or Lid Latch Assembly

If the washer won't start the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly

If the washer won't start the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Incoming Power Problem

If the washer won't start check to see if there is power at the electrical outlet which the washer is plugged into. Plug a lamp or radio into the outlet to check it. If the outlet is dead, check the circuit breakers or fuses for the home.

Power Cord

If the washer won't start, check to be sure there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.

We went to run our dishwasher and lights are out....nothing works......house fuse fine. Been told to look for fuse box inside of dishwasher panel but cannot identify.

if the circuit breaker is good then you need to check the main power line to the unit and make sure everything is connected properly.

Dishwasher is not working. No power. I checked the electric box and everything is fine. Pulled dishwasher out, and it seems to be plugged in.

If your dishwasher doesn't work at all, check these:

Power from the house
Door switch
Wiring
Timer or selector switch
Power from the house Is there power getting to the dishwasher? This can be difficult to test, because dishwashers are usually wired directly to an electrical circuit, rather than plugged into the wall. But at least check for a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker.

Door switch The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it.

Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dishwasher, burns and breaks the connection. If that's the problem, the wires must be repaired/replaced as necessary. If that's not the problem, check the wiring to the door switch, the wiring between the door and the lower part of the dishwasher, and the wiring to the timer. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors.

Timer or selector switch Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be repaired.

Dishwasher won't power up; have checked fuse; no lights coming on, on front panel

Check the house electrical panel for tripped breaker or blown fuse. Check power wiring from washer to wall outlet. Is it a cord that is plugged into a socket, or is it direct wired? If it is a socket, make sure a lamp will light if plugged into the same socket.

Washer will not turn on. The knob moves but nothing happens when I turn it on. I've checked the breaker, the water, the plug/outlet, and hoses. Everything looks fine. But nothing happens.

If your washer doesn't seem to work at all, check these:

No power
Lid switch
No power Check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?

Lid switch If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Faulty Diplomat Dishwasher - tripping mains fuse

Hello,

My dishwasher a diplomat 12 program (hja8640) was doing exactly the same where every now and again when turned on at the plug it would trip. After engineers coming out several times and failing to fix it, they condemed it. New one was supplied, however did exactly the same thing. The electrician came back, checked the RCD power breaker and this was fine. It was then discovered that some dishwashers and washing machines send out a lot of earth leakage, combine this with other appliances on in the house can be enough to trip.

Soloution. The electrician removed the kitchen circut from the RCD breaker and intalled another breaker RCD just for the kitcehn loop, this therefore means that the kitchen has a seperate trip from the rest of the house, and touch wood, has solved the problem. This mind you has taken about three months to work out so i hope it saves you some time.

Always use a fully qualified electrician though.

Thanks.
