Hello,
The ways to test the icemaker is of course have it installed into the i/m mold and connected to the plug in freezer to test it;
meter leads in the L&N holes on module should have 120 volts ac at all times,if not the thermal fuse on the wire from i/m module is blown, to test that the plug where the i/m plugs into should have 120 vac all times on the black and white wires in that plug from freezer wall into i/m
If 120 vac on L&N use jumper wire and jump the holes marked T&H,the i/m should start, may need to wiggle jumper till it starts,then you will hear click within 10 seconds remove jumper as soon as clicks, the im will rotate , if you think of fingers on i/m a hand on clock when the fingers are somewhere between the 10-12 o'clock area their should be 120 vac at water valve if 120 vac try again and plug water valve back in if no water fill when fingers are 10-12 o'clock water valve is bad
A WORD OF WARNING THOUGH IF YOU TOUCH A BARE WIRE ON JUMPER IT WILL SHOCK YOU,so only strip about 1/2" of each end of the jumper wire and bend into a U shape before inserting to jump i/m and wear nonconductive gloves
Good luck,
Gene
