Element is brand new. Replaced it a month ago. I suspect one leg of 220 is gone. We were whacked by lightning last week and lost two computers, one phone system, printer and router. However I have plenty of power at the box both incoming and thru the breaker.

If the fan and the light is working,, and no heat would suspect the element has gone on the oven.. check that the thermostat light comes on.. if it lights up then the thermostat is ok.. Element is situated at the rear of the back plate inside the oven. kind regards mcdapp

The top oven not maintaining heat why plenty of reasons depending on age could be a weak ignitor, bad temp sensor, is the oven light on if so oven stops heating after 30 seconds any oven maintaining set point temp will brown and if left long enough burn

"kitchen aid model KeBS107SSS00 enter probe temperaure keeps coming on. I am not using a probe and it won't let me enter convec or normal cooking temperatures." Not my wording but it was the exact problem...

This happened on our Kitchenaid electric stove/oven as well! I unplugged the oven, opened up the outside panel of the oven (same side as the temp probe jack) and found a small metal tab adjacent to the jack. I opened that up to reveal the jack surrounded by moist fiberglass sheeting. A boiling pot of beans had over-flowed on that side of the range the day before. Moisture had gotten down in there and was crossing the connections. Once I dried off the exposed metallic parts and moved the moist fiberglass away from the connections, problem went away. Hopefully, a good self-cleaning cycle will dry up that moisture.

OVEN CONTROLS AND OVEN DONT WORK. RANGE TOP WORKS FINE.

Hello,

We're having the same problem. Oven light works, but plug by oven light switch does not. I changed the screw in fuse (15 Amp) in the oven, although it was blown, it didn't fix the problem.
I will be checking the double breaker on the electric panel tonight, making sure it's getting the full 220v, and if that is good, I will be looking at checking and replacing the clock.
Hope this helps.

Gas oven won't heat up but the cooktop is working.

Likely this has been since fixed but here is the solution is anyone else has this problem. I just ran into this on a brand new unit and it was because it was in a Store Demo mode. You know this because there is an "SD" then the time displayed. the repair is as follows: KILL POWER APPROX 15 SEC, ON POWER UP WITH IN 1 MIN PRESS CANCEL AND THEN PRESS OVEN LIGHT AND TOP TIMER BUTTON TOGETHER AND HOLD FOR A COUPLE SECONDS. SHOULD FIX SD CODE.

not sure about this one but it sounds like there may be a door switch on your model which is either a probe that the door hits off or it is a micro switch in the side of the oven that the hinge is supposed to strike off.look for these switches to see if connection is being made.
