My electricity was not tripped, but one the oven worked and the next day it did not. The lower warming oven and broiler work just fine. Is this an issue with the electrical starter or with the gas?

Electricity tripping was almost certainly caused by the element going faulty.
remove back panel inside oven and element is exposed and you can often see the damage. replacement is quite easy and get back to me if you want to proceed with repair

Had similar issues with my GE oven. (same Model) Removed the oven control module and sent it to FixYourBoard.com. For $160 they repaired the board in about 1 week. Received it (my same board) and put it back in. The oven works great! Recommended. (No, don't work for that company, just a happy customer)

Unfortunately this seems to be a problem with several of the jenn air models. I have replaced quite a few and have also talked to thier tech line for servicers and they don't have anything else to offer other than replacing the control board. Each time I ran across one I found no other problems and I tested everything. If you replace 3 times you can usually get them to give you a new one.

F3 and flashing on Kenmore oven

HI. this is a basic temp sensor issue. the oven control is programmed to cease operations if it dose not receive any resistance signals for the temp sensor during high heat situations.

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
