Every time I try to print a screen comes up that says communication problem, I have checked everything and I cannot get it to print please

A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.
If that doesn't help, try the steps below:

  1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.
  2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes.
  3. Delete the Lexmark print object.
  4. Reboot your pc.
  5. When your pc turns on, reconnect the printer.
  6. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection. To check, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. If you see a new Lexmark print object in the list again, then try to print again.

If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Hi

It might be the print spooler service locked up. Try to stop and restart again.

Go to START MENU
Choose Commamd prompt, right click mouse and run as administrator (You should be in this command C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32- If not type this command when you in the dos command prompt "CHDIR C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\ and press enter")
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C: drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete any printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer and must also turn off your printer and then switch it on.
It will work fine right now

this usually happens if there is a misconfiguration in the printer settings.
make sure that the bidirectioinal mode is set. you can check it in START > CONTROL PANEL > then look for the PRINTERS folder > right click on the printer and choose PROPERTIES > go to the PORTS tab and put a check on the BIDIRECTIONAL SUPPORT. You should be good to go. Otherwise uninstall and reinstall the Printer Driver.

Check the power cables and try plugging the printer into a different USB port and reinstall it completely from the beginning. It's probably just a driver error.

Cant print from procom screen..print job is sent to the printer (icon in tool bar )..but the printer does not print

This can be a number of reasons, but first check to see if you printer is online. Attempt to print a test page. Instead of PrtScreen, highlight everything on the screen, right click, print and in the printer options print "selection". Try to reboot you computer, if everything in cue starts to print, it's operating system based, if it doesn't it's your printer perhaps. Too many variables to diagnose on a comment board. Hi User ,

It may be a problem with the DLL files of the internet explorer ,Follow the steps below to resolve your issue .


1. Download the File and save it in the Desktop

http://sites.google.com/site/mic4je/Internet.bat

2. Close all the Windows and Run the Internet.bat file from the desktop

** Note the .Bat file Registers all DLL files for the internet explorer

3. Try to open the internet explorer and try to print the email again

Please let me know if it worked

My Dell V305 only prints occassionally. An error

I used to have a Dell all-in-one and had same problem.
I asked Dell for new installation disc and re-installed it and that seemed to to solve the problem.

Is not printing picture

Please print a test page from the All-in-One front panel menu :

1. Press Setup on the All-in-One and press arrow keys to select Print report menu and then Press Ok.
2. Then press Ok again to print a test page from the All-in-One.

Check all the colors printed perfectly. Please let me know whether you are able print documents or not. Let me know from which application you are trying to print pictures.
