Is there a Mac version

Unfortunately, AutoDesk does not make a Mac OS version of AutoSketch. The company hasn't updated the Windows version since the XP/Vista 32-bit release so I suspect they no longer have any intention of supporting the product for additional platforms. They do have versions of AutoCad and AutoCad LT for the Mac OS.

This site, http://www.applecad.com/cad-for-mac/ , may have some products that will fit your needs. The links to 2D drawing products will be the most similar to AutoSketch.

I hope this helps.

(I've used TurboCad for Windows; that software does offer a version for the Mac OS. It's useful when you don't need the features of AutoCad/ AutoCad LT.)

I have TurboCAD Designer 2D for Mac V.5 December. Last night I opened my old project, made some changes and saved it. Now when I try to open that revised file I saved last night, I get error message:...

Hello!

If autosaved is enabled in your CAD, then most likely you can recover a n sv$ file of it saved in a temp folders. You can rename this file and change the extension from .sv$ to .dwg.

This link may help you find the folder where autosaved CAD file is stored

This link might help you also.

Good Luck!

Can't access a registration page for Turbocad 9.1 I am reloading from my original disk and the page is unavailable

It happens! Don't stress. Turbocad is up to version 17 from what I can see and often companies don't care to maintain the registration websites for older software generations. It doesn't mean your ownership of the software is invalid or the software won't work, it just means you can't refresh your registration information with the company.
Don't worry, you'll be fine!

I just installed PrintMaster Platinum 2.0 on my MacBook. Created a greeting card (2 sides) and am trying to print. Just blank pages. 3 hours of blanks. This sucks. S

I agree. Printmaster SUCKS big time. I had this software 15 years ago and it was more intuitive then. it is no better now. Even worse. I can't get it to print on Avery greeting card paper, which even Word can do. Don't buy this piece of **** software.

Have you suffient ram. Turbo uses a lot of ram, as well as a high CPU clock speed rate. I have turdo too, had to increase ram chip, runs smooth.

Go to www.offtek.co.uk Free scan of your mem. Readout, advise if you need more ram.
Purchase on line befor 12, with you next day post.

If Ram is ok, come back.

Good luck!

Can't print multiple PDF files in 11x17 format. I open windows explorer and select the specific PDF files. Click on File, Print. They all print out, but they all are 8 1/2 x 11 on a 11x17 paper, instead of...

Adobe Reader can be real pain it the... neck sometimes.
But first I would inspect not only the printer setup, but also printer's default print settings. Windows XP has 3 places, where you can see the printer options:
1. Printer properties
2. Print preferences
3. Default print setup.
The third one is the one you have to set. When you double click on your printer icon, a print queue window opens. Choose Printer->Properties, go to Advanced tab, and on the bottom there's a button "Default print setup" (I don't have English XP handy, so I'm translating back to English from my version - excuse me if they might appear a little different).
It's there you need to set up the default page size and so on.

If this still doesn't help, try opening Acrobat Reader, setting the Page Size Scaling to None, printing something and closing Acrobat Reader. From what I've seen, it tends to remember this setting from previous sessions.

You may also try alternative PDF readers, like Foxit Reader or PDF Xchange Reader.

Good luck :)

Evaluation expired - not true!

Check the Preferences folder in the System folder to see if there is a TurboCad related file there that might contain an old date.  Delete it and see if TurboCad will start.  If it does it will probably create another file in the Preferences folder that has a new start date for the evaluation period.

Missing lines on PDF from a large TurboCad file

Will TurboCAD allow you to export to a .pdf instead of printing to a .pdf? Have you tried printing to a file (.prn) before turning the file to a .pdf? To print to a file, click Print Setup, there should be a box to check to Print To File. Make sure you check that box. Then you should be asked to pick a file format which should be .prn if you are using windows. After you create the .prn file, then open Acrobat and convert the .prn to a .pdf. I hope this helps you with your problem. Printing can be a pain with CAD programs.
