Change the ink carridge it says alins cartriges.cannot photocopy.

Make sure you have replaced BOTH of the ink cartridges. Then it should align.

problem with any one of your cartrides. open the carridge door and renove color cartridge and close it.if it says insert left cartridge then it could be the problem with color cartrige.or the same error come then put the color cartridge and remove the block cartrige.if display says insert right cartridge then it could br the problem with black cartridge.try clesn the cartridge contacts & ink nozzles and put it back (use a soft cloth to clean the cotact)

Attempted to change the colour cartridge but a message says "Parts inside your printer require maintenance or replacement. Contact your dealer."


Hi,
I would suggest you to just cleanup the printer. For this follow the steps as under
1 open lid to expose cartridge area
2 push power button to power off
3 allow printer to shut down- cartriges will park on the left side.
4 look for any ink residue under where the cartridges normally are.If yes gently try to clean it up.You may also use screwdriver then several paper towells and iso alcohol. Under the cartrige area is a black plastic tray which can slide forward. Clean under that as well.Similarly follow with colour carridges.
5 close lid and power up and it now .It should work.

You may also try to hold the restart button of your printer for 1 minute just the way you push it to turn it on.

Canon Pixma mx300 printer has paper jam message.


Canon Pixma MX300

- new cartrige for Black ink
- can scan
- can photocopy documents
BUT can't print documents from my MacBook eventhough the paper feeds and goes out at the other side

Just replaced the blue (cyan) colour cartrige in my Samsung laser printer but it just comes out a light red colour!, help i followed the instructions to install my new carridge

Does not print black...


I have had this problem with the Pixma ip90. My machine did not like generic ink ie NON Canon. The ink had clogged up the nozzles. It was only when I put in genuine ink and cleaned and cleaned that I slowly rectified the problem.
If this does not work you may need to replace the printer head.

Colour Cartridge


hi check your cartridge number are ok , clean the pin points of the cartridge and carridge pins of the printer if not works , try another cartridge if not works than may be carridge faulty , carridge data cable faulty, or logic card of the printer go to your service center or any repairing shop .

your carridge unit must be full with ink you have to clean the carridge unit if you can do ur self clean the ink otherwise take to near by service center just ask to do service only

Will not print black


first of all the most important auestion is have you used compatible ink cartridges or genuine ones, because the print head clogs up with compatible ones, i really doubt that the cartridge you installed is damaged because i haven't come across this and i am a canon technician, i know this model well

Streaks / Bands of broken print area


First with a clean soft cloth and a very small amt of alcohol clean off the underside of the printer carridge (the holder for the print heads) also where the print heads cleaning station is clean out any large masses of congealed link. Then remove the ink cartridge in question and with a pencil eraser gently rub the contacts and both the cartridge and the carridge replace the cartridge. Using the software tools for the printer clean and align the printheads ( if there is an option to do so). If this dosn't fix the problem try a different ink cartridge.
