Lexmark X4530 won't load paper to copy

Leading cause of paper jams is debris / foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please try this approach to fix the problem:

  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
  3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also carefully turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
  4. If feeder is clear, place the printer on the table. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions in the paper path.
  6. Close the printer cover.
  7. Re-brick your printer by pulling out the power supply - the black box where the power cord is plugged into. Re-plug after 30 seconds.
  8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print again to verify that the problem is fixed.

The promt says out of paper, when its not and paper jams won't feed through properly stops at same spot each time, two of same printer both doing same exact thing ??????????? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Printers are bad news when there is a paper jam, paper particles often get left behind tricking the sensors that there is no paper. remove portions of the printer to access the rollers and gears, unplug and turn upside down and lightly shake to remove difficult parts, buy a can of compressed air to reach area,s that are impossible, in most cases this will resolve issues, if not printers do develope gears problems and bad sensors, replacement of printer is recommended at this point.

I have a Lexmark x2600 printer and when I stated printing many pieces went through and then jammed and won't move in either direction, the paper is really jammed in and I don't see any way to get...

Unplug the printer from the power source to turn it off. Open the printer cover to access the cartridge area. If you see the paper jam, slowly and carefully pull the paper out of the printer. Avoid tearing the paper or avoid leaving torn pieces in the printer. This will cause future paper jams in the printer.

When all is clear, re-plug the printer into the power source. Load some paper and try to print again.
Tips: Use only paper that is in good condition. Fan the paper before loading into the feeder to prevent sticking together. Use the specified media type and sizes for your model. Don't overload the feeder.

We had a paper jam and although we got the paper out it won't feed properly anymore.

Try to remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges. Make sure there are no torn piece/s of paper left in the cartridge area or in the paper path. Close the cover. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, re-insert the cartridges and close the cover. Load some paper. Try to print again.

Paper feed light is flashing yet there is paper loaded.

It could be indicating that there's a paper jam, cartridge problem or carrier stalling. Try to remove the sheets of paper from the feeder. Grab a flashlight and look into the feeder for any debris that may have accidentally fell into it. If none, open the cartridge area and remove the cartridges. Make sure there are no obstructions in the carrier's path. Close the cover. Unplug and replug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges. Load some paper and check if printer is working properly now.

Lexmark E 342 n paper jam with error code 201

According to the LexMark support page, this is most often related to not getting the print cartridge assembly properly positioned. (Left and right sides not fully in place). Another possible source is paper in the output tray when using the double sided printing feature. (This leads to grabbing an extra sheet when it tries to retrieve the paper to print the second side. Paper stock thickness will change the number of pages printed before this happens.).

I hope this helps.
