Turn on the TV, red light stays on, picture goes blank after a second.

I have the same problem. Factory reset did not help (hold Vol-minus on set and menu on remote five seconds, then unplug). Can there be something in service mode that would help?

How do u fix a panasonic plasma tv when its not working as in unable to turn it on?

Tv have any power LED light indication at all?Or power LED light it is flashing?Check the outlet power source?Tries tv unplug, replug it back like an hour later for tv resetting back to the factory setting.Tv should be working again,if tv still have the same problems. The tv power supply board have problems and dying or dead. That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Take the tv aparts.Have tools and know basic electronic?Check the tv power supply board carefully for dying capactiors parts, like bulging up or puffing up onto it tops. These capacitors parts are dying and dead soon must all to be replace.Or try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish new power supply board for the replacement.

My panasonic model #TH-50PX75U wont turn on, it powers up but the led light stay on not blinks any time.

Unplug the power cord. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, repeat. Plug it back in and try to turn it on.
If this doesn't work, it would be time to call in a repair tech. Is the TV still under warranty? Extended warranty?

Panasonic plasma

If you open the back, look at the can shaped items. If any of them have the tops bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should solve your picture problem, unless there is something else wrong. What is happening,is they are heating up,and the picture goes out.I bet the longer you have the TV off,the longer it stays on?Hope this helps.Thank You very much!
