Question about Toshiba Satellite 2410-S203 Notebook

Toshiba Satellite 2410-PS241L laptop does not start.

Dear experts,
After shutting down my toshiba satellite 2410 laptop, I'm unable to start it again. I checked the battery and found to be completely dead. Should the laptop work without battery also? If yes, what could be the problem? Please help

    Now the battery got charged completely. But I am still unable to Power On the laptop with both main and battery. Please suggest a solutions.

Plug it into the electrical outlet and then turn on your laptop. if it comes on and works fine, then your battery is just simply dead, and if it will charge, just needs to charge. If not, then you are going to have to replace your battery. But assuming all of this is true, and your laptop will power on when using your electrical outlet, then yes, feel free to use it whenver you like when plugged in.

    You power supply in your laptop may have went bad/shorted out. But if you used this laptop to charge the battery in it, then it probably isn't a faulty or dead power supply. My advice is several options. If you have access to another computer and can connect to the internet, then (1) Go to your computer manufacturer's website and locate the tech support page. if they have an online chat option, contact someone there and explain to them your problem. If they don't have an online chat option, you can probably send them an email and explain it. (2) You can go to google.com and in the search, type in a brief description of your problem. Be sure to type in your computer's specific model number. Another alternative is, if your computer is newer and is still under the warranty, you can either take it back to where you purchased it and request an exchange, or if you bought it online from a manufacturer, you can call them and request directions and packing info and toold to be sent to you, so that you can send it to them for repair or replacement, which should all be covered under your warranty, providing that the warranty is still valid. I have run across similar problems like you are having here, but with desktops. And it ended up being that the power supply had gone bad. Laptops are quite different than desktops though, and I have not run across any problem like your having with a laptop. I am sorry that my advice to you is limited, but I hope that this helps you out some.

Toshiba Satellite A665 S6067 laptop wont recognize my SeaGate FreeAgent Go 500 Gb. device


I had a similar problem and I had to "Delete Volume" when in DIsk Management. I then had a choice to "Create Simple Volume" which I did, and then a wizard created the correct partitions and assigned a drive letter to my external drive. Everything was them OK.

Button keeps blinking


It sounds like it could be either the battery is going bad and not holding a charge or the adapter is. I have had really good luck with similar problems going to places like Batteries +, and large electronic retailers, and my favorite the small local mom and pop computer store; where I end up asking them If I could try one of the adapters from the floor model to eliminate if is a faulty adapter. How do I start bluetooth on the qosmio g25-av13?


Try the ff:

1. Are you also using a wireless internet? If you are and you cannot also connect on wireless, make sure that the wireless is enabled on your laptop. On the left side of the laptop there is a on/off switch push the switch to on. (beside the usb port).

2. if it is already on, make sure that the bluetooth is enabled also, you can check it on control panel, system, hardware, device manager, bluetooth, right click on bluetooth driver, if you see enable bluetooth click on it, if you see"disable bluetooth" that means it is already enabled.

3. If the above is already configured, lastly, look for the bluetooth icon (bluetooth manager) on the lower part of the screen on the taskbar/tray if you see the bluetooth icon, right-click on it then click "Enable Bluetooth Radio". Now, if there is no bluetooth icon on the tray at the lower right of the screen, go to Start, Toshiba, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Settings, inside the Bluetooth SEttings, click on Bluetooth, Options, CLick on Enable Bluetooth Power, also, inside the Tray Icon (still inside Bluetooth Settings) select an icon so you can always see the status of your bluetooth on the Tray and you don;t need to do and check everything everytime you cannot connect via Bluetooth.

I have doctor antivirus pop ups


Unfortunately, the only way I've found to be completely rid a machine of this is to wipe the hard drive and reload the operating system. This is an advertisement virus and this particular bug leaves several sleepers that lie inactive making it near impossible for any antivirus to find them. Once you get rid of the active virus, one or two, but not all of the sleepers will activate leaving several more hidden and inactive, and what makes it even harder to "get rid of" is that it hides the sleepers in file that your antivirus normally doesn't check on a regular basis, ie... picture files, music, screen savers, etc.. It will also hide them in registry files, so doing a system repair won't work either.
