Actually it's the other way around.

For just listening, any audio device with a headphone/earbud output can be connected to any available analog Line Level input (except PHONO) with a simple adapter. They don't tell you that in the iPod manual because they want you to purchase expensive accessories like docking stations. You'll have to manage the music directly from the portable device.

Hi,yes you can connect Kenwood KR-4600 to an ipod.

Instruction..

You will need an can the Kenwood KR-4600 connect - coolken_9.jpgRCA cable .

Connect the RCA (red and black to the input of the Kenwood KR-4600...You have options of inputs to use..

Kenwood KR-V8070 accept digital signals, trying to hook up to cable box?

The Kenwood KR-V8070 has no digital audio inputs; it only has analog inputs. You can see the manual's diagram of the rear input/outputs starting on page 4 at ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/287040/Kenwood-Kr-V8070.html?page=4#manual . If you need to connect a device that doesn't have an analog audio output, you will need an analog to digital audio converter. This is one version: https://www.amazon.com/SANOXY-Analog-Digital-Converter-Adapter/dp/B005F20756 . You will need to supply all of the audio cables separately.

The later KRF-V8070D does have coaxial and optical digital audio inputs. I hope this helps.

Where on the Kenwood KR-V5580 do I connect a sub woofer

Wherever the unidentified subwoofer's manual recommends. As there are no volume-controlled pre-amp outputs it would have to be a model that accepts full-range speaker level input if you want to control its volume locally.

I have a kenwood kr-4600 stereo amplifier. On the back are two "jumpers" labeled "adapter". There is one for the left and one for the right. Also on both is IN and OUT. There is a...

They're for inserting any permanently-active analog stereo audio processor like an EQ in between the preamp section and the amp section. Unlike a tape Monitor loop, the output is AFTER tone and volume controls. Owners of Bose 901's would use that connection, for example, because the Active EQ is intended only for the speakers.

Refer to the manual(s). Your unnamed speaker(s) may have special requirements (or not). Either way, the manuals are very helpful and a good place to start.
