Its not possible to override this message unless you are a service technician,
these service technicians have the software that overrides messages like these... its best to talk to your local repair center to check and find out if they have the software/tool that you need.

Hold down the stop/eject button after the error pops. The printer will go into offline mode, from here you can use the menu button to navigate to systems and in the sub menu find ignore ink level and select the color that is giving the error. After the error is masked you can do a head cleaning. Most of the problems I've had with the 8400/6400 is from underuse. The ink will dry up in the printhead and ink supply tubes.

I am getting a error message saying the printer does not have enough ink to ensure printer health. The empty ink cartridge must be replaced to resume printing. I replaced the cartridges and it does not...

These printers have been known to have ink system failure errors. This message can also be caused by using compatible or re-manufactured cartridges. We believe the HP Live update software is also responsible for "dobbing" on you if you use any other brand.
A Fix for the ink system failure can be found below Not sure if it will help with your particular error but it wont hurt to try.

I replaced black ink of brother printer but still it won't work the screen says: Ink empty black. Replace Ink

It seems simple enough, but this is one of the most effective ways of fixing printer cartridge error. Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached.

To reattach the cartridge check the following steps :

turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head.

Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report.

Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.

Have a hp 3310 it says ink system failure error 0xc18a0106 it wont print, scan, copy and it does have enough ink. thank 4 ur help

Turn off the machine using the power button, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges, wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the on button, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't clear the error then you may need to re-prime ink through the system to clear the error. There are good instructions for doing this at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/hp-photosmart-ink-system-failure-1/.
