IBM WorkPad C3 not working

My IBM WorkPad C3 has stopped working. When I first noticed this the display was showing a battery charging icon at the top and the entries in my Main category in the display. Not I did would work. The next day the display showed nothing. Any ideas on what happened? Do I need to buy a new Palm Pilot?
