Question about Creative Labs Zen V MP3 Player

Will not sync or charge to my pc, otherwise ok.

    i have the zen v plus for a year. it was working fine on my vista program until now my lap top cant sync it all of a sudden. other than that it plays ok.

Remove the usb drivers from the pc and reboot and let the pc install new drivers.

My sync manager wont recognize my zen v plus


yeah here's what you need to do
go on control panel>system>hardware>device manger.
It should be there somewhere , right click it and update it.
Or uninstall it and then go back on control panel and go on add hardwhere and just click ok and let it do its job.

Zen 30gb won't turn off


theres a access hole on the bottom side of the player that says reset use a straighten out paper clip and insert to push the reset button and the player will reboot good luck

sir there may be a problem with your pc's i/o devices.virus present in the pc may also lead to this problem.use an apt anti irus to your system ant the prolem will be solved.

Try putting the songs on your PC if they are not there already. Delete all the songs from your Zen, then reload them.

Hey Sheikhea!

You won't need to download or install any programs if you have Windows Media Player on your computer. You can use other programs but WMP is probably the easiest!

  1. Plug in your MP3 player using the USB cord (should be in box)
  2. Open WMP
  3. (If your songs are already in Library skip this step). Click "File" (top left hand corner) then "Add to Library..." Click "OK" WMP will now find all music on your computer and add it to Library.
  4. If the internet is connected WMP will attempt to find song info such as title, artist, album etc. Otherwise right click on song and click "Edit"
  5. Click on "Sync" tab (top of player). A sidebar should appear with "Creative zen.. etc" written on the top.
  6. Drag songs into sidebar.
  7. Click "Start Sync"
  8. The songs will now download onto your MP3 player.
To organise your files into folders etc. go to "My Computer" then "Creative Zen etc" then "Music" and create folders (right click "create folder") copy, paste, and drag your songs in folders as you like.

You can now unplug you MP3 player and turn it on!

i had this problem. i added one track that has never been on my player before and it worked for me. hope this helps.

No license to play/sync license from PC - Zen Creative V Plus


Start up Window Media player on your computer. Plug your Zen device into the computer. Wait until you see it listing in WMP. Unplug the Zen and see if you can play the songs.
The licenses on the device should be updated by WMP when you plug in the device

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.

try downloading the
MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.

By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok

Creative Zen Nano Plus 1 GB


The way to fix it is, on your PC, you make folders on the Zen Nano drive. Title those folders as you want. Then you put all of the audio into those folders. And hopefully when you turn on the device, the audio will be in folders. Good luck.
