Question about JVC Car Speakers & Subwoofers

Jvc car stereo 45wx4 kd sx991r ref the above how do I set bass treble and audio levels?As they are lost eveytime the keys are removed from the igition.Many thanks Paul Cook. email cookie2003@onetel.com

My bet is that the reason you loose the setting every time the key is turned off is because you have no constant power going to your yellow wire. With the power on major brands of cd players there are 3 "power" wires. One is black which is ground, one is red which is the accessory power, this is only on when the car is on, and the last one is the yellow which is constant which stays on all the time so that your cd player can keep settings. Some have that setting and some dont....its usually in your audio settings....If in doubt.....look up your manual online

When the truck is turned on the speakers make a boom sound then they buzz??


is this afetermarket stereo if so check you ground on the amps

I have a jvc car stereo , doesnt keep the bass and treble settings but keeps the radio stations , any ideas ?


I have a JVC deck and only way to accept the setting is to hit the volume button to accept the setting, if I don't it won't keep the setting.

How do I set the time on a JVC KD-S13 car stereo?


Press and hold 'SEL' button. DEMO is displayed. Use the up or down to select an item. Turn volume knob to set/adjust. The clock is next after demo. set hour then minute press SEL to finish. Reference page 3 in this link to JVC for your KD-S13 CD Receiver Instructions.

Can't find sub levels on the menu


on some jvc models they don't specify if it has subwoofer level controls. On the one that i had i had to hold down the audio button for like 3 sec then it switched me to bass treble and subwoofer make sure that you have your rca jacks plugged into the subwoofer outlet also

Can you please tell me how to set the clock on a pioneer car stereo model deh-p3000lb because i have misplaced my original owners manual.thank you.


I believe with the radio off you hold the same button you use for audio settings bass treble etc. Then the time will start blinking allowing you to set it.

I need to know how to set the clock on my car stereo , it is a JVC KD-G420 CD/MP3/WMA Receiver w / front AUX-Input.


press the S(select) button until you see CLOCK H. use the << >> button to adjust the hour press S again.
Repeat the steps above until you see CLOCK M use the << >> button to adjust the minute. press S to exit.
