I have a GU-UD018 Jump drive made by Goldenmars and it
is/was great. I scanned and saved many photos from discs, etc to the drive. I
still have the photos that I scanned and the discs, but much work was put into
resizing and adjusting pictures with Photo Shop before I saved them to the jump
drive. My problem is that all of a sudden I get an error message that the drive
has a problem and cannot be read. I tried it on 5 other computers and the same
thing happened. I know I should have had a back up, but unfortunately I did
not. Is there any way whatsoever to retrieve the files from my jump
    drive?

How do i save something to my 4GB cruzer HARD DRIVE

Assuming you have the drive hooked up to your PC, you should be able to open the drive using My Computer. You can simply open the folder and drag and drop any files you wish to save onto your SanDisk drive.

Your Sandisk Cruzer 4GB USB can no longer be formatted. It is damaged or corrupted by virus. The only thing you can do is change it.

It won't show up

Use the exact same USB port that you used to install it.
The installation uses a "virtual USB" port.
You also have to use the same user account on the computer. (Use the same USERNAME as when it was installed).

Also, check to see if the computer DOES see it:
Right-click [My Computer]
[Manage]
{Disk Management]
Find your Cruzer in the list or on the graph.
Right-click on it and [Explore]
Copy your homework to your computer desktop.

It should work ok, now.

Sandisk Cruzer Professional 4GB usb flash drive issue

If you pull out the flash disk while it's working, you can damage its bootrecord. In this case Windows tells you that flash drive is not formatted because cannot read the from master boot record or FAT (file allocation table)
You can scan your flash drive attempting to repair boot record or use a flashdisk recovery tool if you have importanta data in it.
If not you can format your flash drive.

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 2.0 problem

Should show up in "My Computer" as a removable drive with letter designator. Then it is simply a matter of drag and drop to copy files using the mouse. If XP doesn't recognize the drive, put it in another USB port, and or try it on another computer. If it doesn't show up then, take it back to the store.

SanDisk Cruzer 4Gb not found on XP

I have the same issue. I have found a temporary solution though. I have a Sandisk 4GB Cruzer and an HP Laserjet 1022N connected VIA USB. When I uninstall the USB Printing support driver from Device Manager then plug in the Cruzer it recognizes it right away. Not quite sure why this would happen though
