This is a general procedure - I couldn't find any documentation for any TruTech Mp3 Players. Connect your Trutech to the computer. Double-click My Computer. Double-click the icon of the Trutech. Open the music folder. Create a new folder on your desktop, and call it something like "temporary mp3 storage." Drag the music file from the music folder fo the mp3 player to the new folder that you have just created on your desktop.

Hope that helps.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I fixed this error by right clicking on the internal storage withing the player, formatting. Then copy one song to the flash, and while it is still plugged up to the computer, double click on the song within the flash it'self as if to play it on the computer. Allow it to play a little and then disconnect the player from the computer. Play the song that you copied. Then you can re-attach the player to the computer and copy songs back on to it.

Flash error means there is a conflict with your storage or play function you want to select format which will erase and reset your mp3 so it will function properly.

after formating the player will then allow storage of music this error can becaused by overloading storage of player or the mususic files are in the wrong format to play

I had this same problem. If I tried to turn the player on, it just gave me the "format the player" screen. If I turned it off (by removing the battery if necessary) and plugged it into a USB port, it could still be read as a flash drive. I could copy the files to a backup folder on my computer and then (using Windows) I could right-click on the drive and choose Format. When it was finished, I disconnected it from the computer and turned the player back on and it was able to boot normally (it took a little while, but it worked). After rebooting, it automatically recreated the MUSIC.LIB, MUSIC.SEC, SETTINGS.DAT system files and the VOICE directory. I plugged it back into the USB port and copied the music back onto it and it worked fine. So... back up the data and format the player...

You should backup your data and format the player. Plug her in, copy your music onto your computer, then format it by right clicking the drive in My Computer, then going to Format, then clicking Start. After it's finished, copy your music back over to the player and it should be sorted.
