This is a general procedure - I couldn't find any documentation for any TruTech Mp3 Players. Connect your Trutech to the computer. Double-click My Computer. Double-click the icon of the Trutech. Open the music folder. Create a new folder on your desktop, and call it something like "temporary mp3 storage." Drag the music file from the music folder fo the mp3 player to the new folder that you have just created on your desktop.

Hope that helps.

My sansa needs formating but doesnt want to format

Why does your mp3 have to formate? Any error? or the internal memoy is corrupted? If it is, I am afraid that you have to fix it by formatting. And I think that you do not want to formate it because something important must be in the mp3, and you can make a backup before formatting, anyway, you can recover data from mp3 by some recovery software after formatting if you can not make a backup. Needs to format and I do not know how.

Hi

To format it Connect it to the computer, go to My computer-> right click on the mp3/mp4 player after it is displayed-> select format-> Format it as FAT32 File system. Formatting the MP3/MP4 player will delete all the songs/data from the player. So, backup all data before formatting it. Hope this helps...

I had this same problem. If I tried to turn the player on, it just gave me the "format the player" screen. If I turned it off (by removing the battery if necessary) and plugged it into a USB port, it could still be read as a flash drive. I could copy the files to a backup folder on my computer and then (using Windows) I could right-click on the drive and choose Format. When it was finished, I disconnected it from the computer and turned the player back on and it was able to boot normally (it took a little while, but it worked). After rebooting, it automatically recreated the MUSIC.LIB, MUSIC.SEC, SETTINGS.DAT system files and the VOICE directory. I plugged it back into the USB port and copied the music back onto it and it worked fine. So... back up the data and format the player...

You should backup your data and format the player. Plug her in, copy your music onto your computer, then format it by right clicking the drive in My Computer, then going to Format, then clicking Start. After it's finished, copy your music back over to the player and it should be sorted.
