That is because it is printing the document as text. Not have=ing used
a canon I presume it is the same as epson & HP. Instead of clicking
the print icon click file print. A box should open allowing you to
change the properties, seleect photo
Have you ever experienced this problem with your inkjet printer?. The printing result of document or picture get little bit shadowed, some colors and lines are misalignment.
Take it easy. It's not a big deal dude!. The problem frequently happens when we remove the print head or cartridge from carriage unit. And then, the print head is not always in proper position after we reinstall it.
Seem like blocked hole(s) on the color print head...
Most likely if there is a deep clean option then do it (may need a few times to unblock a hole or never).
Also get the printer physically cleaned up if you can see dusts inside (vrtical lines on color bars).
If you are using original cartridges then there should not be a problem. The horizontal lines come from the cartridge. Can you pinpoint if it is a color or black line that is missing? My guess is that during the alignment procedure, you are asked to choose a number or letter that corresponds to picture of a the lines that show the best alignment. If you did this correctly, may I ask how many pictures you printed before seeing that line. Is it on the first print or 10th printing? Cuz if it is on the 5th or more full color picture, then the problem is that you you really have the wrong printer. The F380 capacity for printing full color pictures is miniscule. 1 ml per color. So usually after the 3rd color picture, the ink starts to run out. Let me know if this helps.
you should check whether the color ink is out or not. If so replace it with a new one.
Otherwise just cleaning the print head will solve your problem.
To clean the head Go to control panel > open printers and faxes > right click printer icon > Click properties >
Find the option "Clean print head" or somthing sismilar. Use it and your problem could be solved.
Note: Some printers have seperate software utilities to clean the print head.
You can get this sometimes in Publisher programmes, it's a glitch, but also check cartridge alignment.
If your not happy uninstal printer driver, disconnect printer and re instal driver first then re connect your printer.
